Ah, the NIH Golf League. Where I'm the long hitting, A flight player. Not like playing with you dingii.

 

Had my first match today. In the pre-season we start with cross-flight scrambles. 3 of us shot 1 under on the front 9 at Needwood. 2 birdies, 1 bogie and 6 pars. A pretty good start to the season.

 

I used to be in the nihga league too. I quit a few years ago after the senior people complained that the courses were too far and expensive when I served as scheduler for many years. Now that league only has like 30 people. Very sad.

Yeah, I don't know how that came about, but there are two different, completely separate NIH golf leagues. I was just looking at a handicap sheet for the NIHGA and didn't recognize any names, so there doesn't seem to be any overlap among players.

Played 9 after work with the strained back. I was 12 over through the first four. Then something clicked and I went 2 over through the last 5. I turned the epic settings to +1 in loft and nice draws were the norm again.

Next one: you have 10 sessions over the course of a month. Each one lasts 45 minutes. You can either hit shots from 50-150 yards or chip. How many sessions are you allocating to eaxh

I'm splitting those sessions down the middle. 5 for 50-100, and 5 for chipping.
