If youre talking about the ie1, yes, its clean looking...

But the hidden cavity is def. not sitting well with me..it looks just like all the other G.I clubs out there. i much prefer the i25 as theres not an actual cavity.

I understand it's hard to please everyone and I was probably ambitious in stating how I didn't think anyone would be disappointed but I'm really happy with how simple and clean they look.

i too made the same mistake of being too ambitious in thinking i would see an iron that resembles the Glide,..

feel like hitting the range just to pound balls in every direction ...ugh.

I don't post on here very often, just like to look around mostly. But after seeing the pics I'm somewhat disappointed (maybe underwhelmed is more accurate) by the looks of the i-e1. In my opinion Ping could have taken two better routes with the design of these: either make an iron that looks along the lines of the Glide wedges, or a more forgiving model that looks like the s55 kind of what Nike did with the vapor pro and pro combo. I don't think it looks bad, it doesn't look any better or worse than the i25, I just think they could have done better.

Seeing these, I'm not even tempted to postpone my order on i25s. I've never even really considered a GI iron, but something about the i25s just really appeals to me. I don't know why, these don't charge my battery. I've never been a fan of the pocket cavity. Maybe I'm the only one who actually likes seeing what's happening in the cavity.
