A nice feature would be to sort feedback. As is, you have to scroll through the feedback to get to history. If the person has a negative from a year ago, it would be nice to be able to click on the red down arrow and be able to see what it was. Just a minor feature change that would make like a touch easier.

Exactly!!!! It's hard to get a negative feedback on this site. If you get one, let alone 3 or 4, it should follow you like a scarlet letter. More than just being buried in your feedback history somewhere.

Keep in mind also, guys buy using the mobile version of the site which has no feedback score associate with it. It would also be nice to access that info via mobile.

If not shipping for a month does not get you a permanent ban what does?

I would still file a paypal dispute ASAP, if the equipment comes and is in the condition claimed by the unethical seller, then drop the dispute.

A couple of thoughts:

First I get the impression that the seller would not have even shipped the item today had this thread not been started. Lesson learned: When a seller does not ship file a claim with PP. That will either net you your item or a refund in a timely fashion. Not doing so for 5 weeks, as in this case, is on the buyer. Patience is one thing but c-mon.

And secondly, why can't the feedback system somehow be updated to allow a special entry that indicates "Time Till Shipped/Received" or something of that sort? If I were in the market for something it would really be nice to see how fast a seller shipped the things they sold. I could avoid someone who takes 5 weeks to bring closure to a transaction.

Hopefully the OP ends up getting his item and all ends well. The seller in this case is very selfish and I cannot help but wonder if he might end up being banned as a result of this mess. The only bright side is that the seller is being honest - reading between the lines of his replies he is openly admitting "I am selfish and thought of no one other than myself. The world, in my opinion, centers on and revolves around me. I will take your money, make false promises, ignore your requests, and will only come forward and own it if/when the other party calls me out on it."

Wow, list is growing. I have been late with sending a tracking number, but always find a way to get goods out in less than 3 business days. And i sometimes work 20 hours on monday. On call 24/7 every monday and 24/7 fri 5pm to tues 5pm 1x a month on top of working 50+ hrs a week. If you can sell, you can ship!

I love this site.. But.. IMO people can get away with way to much before a ban is handed out.

Once you have a proven bad transaction.. Not shipping a few days late I'm talking ones like this.. You should be banned or at minimum.. Not allowed to sell on the BST.

Wow crazy how some sellers don't feel bad about situations like this. Sold a 3 wood a few weeks back, got caught up at work and couldn't ship it for a week. Sent the club and refunded the buyer his money for my error.

We need to ban people like this, zero tolerance for scum like him.
