TP Mills - Post your Putter

I worked at a pawn shop for about 10 years and when my old boss decided to retire I helped him clean out the shop. While I was clearing out the upstairs storage area I found this gem hiding out under about 50 other old putters. I dusted it off and snapped a couple pictures before showing it to my boss. He had bought it some 15 years ago and had forgot about it.

That looks incredible. Would you mind sharing how you got in contact with them? I sent an email to Craig and received one response then silence. I am really intrigued with their work.

I've had the putter for a while and absolutely love it. Carbon with hand milled face and a sound slot which you don't see on too many Mills putters. Sent it to David last summer for a refresh. He was great to work with and tossed in a free headcover after I mentioned mine was wearing out.

That is beautiful! I absolutely love the sight dot on top...never see those anymore. What's the weight on it?

Anyone gamed a Hi Toe Fleetwood? From pics it looks like something I might like. What's the advantage for the hi toe?

Just got this head (and cover) for $20.00 total shipped to my house. Threw a tapered tip shaft I had sitting around in it.

 

The shaft epoxy is drying up and I filled in the sightline with white. Good deal for one of the most underrated line of putters ever.

 

I can't tell what the previous owner did to this finish. Can anyone enlighten me as to what they may have done to the (nickel?) finish?

Looks to me like they have tried to remove the finish with some kind of solvent and a wire brush, then tried to apply their own black finish which has not taken because of the poor preparation.
