It's really not bad at all for secondary markup. They cost $250 (after tax) for those of us in California. An extra $100 to secure your pair and not take an L come Thursday isn't a bad up charge.

even if you jump on the notification - depending on when you actually get it pushed onto your phone, you still might not get them on a hyped shoe. Today I saw mine about 2? minutes after it pushed through and still didn't get my pair. I've got the push on previous pairs and clicked on it as soon as it came through and still didn't get them...(I don't recall which ones, but it wasn't golf iirc)

Nike is doing a different release procedure on these. Usually online golf sites get the GR shoes, and of course never the major release XI's. But this time, no go. Unless all of these online retailers are lying. More limited than concords it looks like.

So I saw the tweet at 11am and no member access for me.

Kept trying. at 1130am on the dot I got access and purchased a size 13 via the Nike app.

Been thru this rodeo as I am a sneaker head with no bot.....just keep trying and don't give up.

Why do you guys believe you got the member access? Ive spent 3500 on all the release shoes in the zoom victory tour but have never seen a member access notification?

There is no rhyme or reason to it. That’s a tidy chunk of change but wouldn’t touch what some others pay to Nike for shoes. I know guys who got access who drop way more than that in a year and I know guys who have bought 2 pairs at most in the last year who got access. Who knows how Nike does it.

So just to clarify for future releases, for those that got the member access. Just have notifications set and the access will just show up randomly in your member unlocks correct?

Just browse this thread before a release. Early in the morning. Seems like the early access can come from a variety of ways, Nike plus unlocks, mail in your Nike inbox, or a link.

If you have the notifications on, the Nike app will notify you of your early access. For hyped releases you need to buy your pair as quickly as possible. Also there are apps / twitter accounts that send out links when early access starts hitting accounts. I got the notification from J23app that caused me to score a pair. I only got the Nike app notification after I had already paid and got my order confirmation. So even if you got an early reservation via the Nike app, it may if shown up late, after some sizes were already sold out.

Trophy Room will be the only site that will release them other than Nike. That builds on what I said earlier about these only going to private clubs MJ belongs: consider Trophy Room one of these since he owns it with his son.

 

Also, these being a "Line" release which is a draw, these will be very difficult to obtain tomorrow :(

Good question. I'm not sure. Personally, I would use a different account from the account you hit a reserved pair for.

So looks like it's a LEO release... my question is, if you were selected for early access reserve, but weren't able to get the size you wanted, what's the chance that you'll also be "pre-selected" to complete the payment for this?
