FYI, just checked the Costco website and the Ksig 3 are no longer being shown as Members Only

Not sure that means anything. If you click on the golf balls to order them it states "Limit 2 per membership"

For this year's Master's, how about green Ksigs?! Com'on Costco!

It's getting pretty boring without Ksigs though. I believe OG Ksig kick-started this whole alternative balls and shook up the ball industry with both hands.

There's never been more golf ball brands out there and TMag and Callaway AND Srixon AND Bridgestone is trying their best to stay above water. And no, Ksig did not kill Titleist, but with the latest ProV1, I can tell the big boy put some $$$ on the box design and quality. Looks dope.

Only if Costco will come up with 8 piece Kirkland Signature Premium Super Edition, that'd be fantastic year 2019.

Another unscientific test:

***** Warning, this test was performed by a 14-20 handicap hack, distances were measured by laser on flag , then walked off yards. *****

Yesterday was a great 75 degree day here in Southern California (Sorry East Coast ) so out I went.

I tested the K-Sig 4 piece ( I have 16 dozen left) against Callaway Chrome Soft.

PW #1- Chrome Soft- well hit, 137 yards

PW #2- 4 piece - well hit, 135 yards

PW #3- 4 Piece - well hit 138 yards

PW #4- Chrome Soft- well hit 135

Conclusion, I still suck, not much difference in feel or distance between the two,,,,,, no PRO-V 1 used, didn’t think about it.

So, have we seen the last of any type of KSIG4? Masters isnt far away, and thats when they usually put them back on website..

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we may see the new 4-piece that showed up on the conforming list a while back, but doubt we'll see any more of the original K-Sig.

Just like your first love...Hard to let go of, but we all need to do it at some point for our sanity...She's no longer on the conforming list and hate to say probably gone forever...

Having the original not come back is not a huge deal for those of us in the mid teens handicapped, we can find a substitute quicker than say a low singe digit handicapped, not that they went to this ball!

I just took stock of how many Ksigs and KS3 I have. 6 dozen plus of the Ksigs and 6 dozen plus of the 3's. I do like the 4pc balls as I have been playing them the last couple of years I did have new shafts put into some WS v5 Irons and a new driver shaft. I feel the shaft work was worth it and I am getting better yardage with driver in our cold damp NW weather.Playing Ksigs I do love the Snap sound made on the balls when hit correctly.

The ksig 3s i do like with my Hickory clubs but not iin our winter temps and dampness.

I hope the 4 layer balls become available again.

When the 4 piece came out, I played ping G25's with steel shafts and was backing them up 2-3 feet, 4-5 with wedges,,, I switched to the g-700's with graphite shafts and now I hit my shot a lot higher but its one bounce and stop now.

I didn't realize the "new" four piece was no longer on the confirming list but the original is. Does that mean there might be hope for a return of the K-Sig? Have they maybe changed the branding of the new ball to match the original? Doubtful, I think, since there were other differences as well, right (i.e. number of dimples)? Why would they maintain the K-Sig on the performing ball list if it's dead an gone?

No. The original 4 piece 360 dimple KSig is not on the conforming ball list and has not been for some time. The new 4 piece KSig on the current conforming ball list is 338 dimples and has not yet been available for sale. The original 4 piece Ksig is gone.

Hey if the OG KSig4 isn't on the list, does that mean I literally can't play those balls in a tournament?

Yes, if you're playing in a professional and USGA event or another tournament which specifically states the ball the player plays must be named on the current list of Conforming Golf Balls issued by the USGA.

Damn that blows. Why did it come off the list? Is it literally non-conforming or just some BS where Costco didn’t pay a fee

Its was previously a conforming ball, so probably the fee part..Might have to do with the Titleist settlement, but who knows for sure...

Oh, that's right...the original K-Sig was labeled "Tour Performance", wasn't it? So I guess I'm holding out hope new new four piece, labeled "Performance One" (hereby dub thee "K1") my make an appearance before spring hits in full force.

Correct. It was labeled Tour Performance. And now another twist to the Kirkland golf balls. On the new conforming ball list out today the 3 piece KSig ball is not on the list. Just the new 4 piece ball that has yet to be sold. See attached.

grm probably downloaded the pdf file that is effective tomorrow, Wed, Jan 6, and the 3 piece is gone. But if you search the current list like Gire, you'll see that the 3 piece is still on the list. It'll be gone tomorrow :)

What this means to me is that the new 4 piece is just around the corner. Hope they maintain the $23.99 price for two dozen.

You are correct, the Performance Plus is not longer on the USGA website as a conforming ball. I agree that the new K1 (I'm gonna make that stick, damnit!) is right around the corner. I'm guess it will not be $23.99, but probably the $29.99 the original K-Sig sold for (but hopefully you'll get your wish).

So you are telling me Costco is selling a ball that is no longer on the conforming list ?

It would seems so. I checked the website and they say "while supplies last". That tells me they are probably phasing out the 3 piece to be replaced soon by the new 4 piece.

Since the new name is Performance One, please suggest the name as P1 and I'll second it :)

While I have little desire to play in any official events I really hate that Costco balls are leaving the conforming site. I have no desire to play in an event with the Kirkland only to have a guy call my ball nonconforming in a final match/round. Hard for me to want to buy in bulk if ten boxes of Kirkland’s are illegal in a year. And I love Costco and the original ksig. Bummer.
