Natalie was a very good player. Except... Could make putts when it mattered. I dont think she had the killer instinct. She had a nice career. Nothing to be ashamed of.

 

Met her once. Very nice and seems sincere. Hope she just does TV and not politics.

Except the invite every once in a while I think so. I know she tried to play an event maybe 2 months back and had to WD due to her back. I far as I know she hasn't played since competitively anyway.

Between health and talent issues, it's not likely that she'll be a regular on the LPGA. Wouldn't be surprised to see her show up as a walking reporter though.

I wouldn't think so. It seems at least on the surface that "competitive" golf just isn't really her thing anymore. She is real involved with a boys and girls club, she is doing a show of some description, talk of running for an office, so no I don't think playing on the LPGA is a big thing for her now. Could be wrong though. I look at her camera presence, ability to speak and convey thoughts, her looks and personality and really wonder how she hasn't had money basically thrown at her to do LPGA/PGA broadcasts in some capacity. Maybe they have and she hasn't wanted to IDK.

She's currently a co-host on FOX's Sportstime network program "18 holes with Jimmy Hanlon" (Club pro up in the Cleveland area). It's actually a good show and she still has the game, looks and personality for this kind of endeavor. They basically travel around the country and highlight different courses/resorts.

If she has been unable to raise $5,000 while trying then she has bigger problems.

I actually signed Nats back in my training aid / infomercial days. Unfortunately, the entire market went south in late '06 & '07 as the economic collapse began to hit every industry. As a result, we never got the chance to film her spot and edit it into our commercials. Her and I had dinner at the Hard Rock, in Tampa, during a Jeter Pro-Am, when we put that deal together. Annika was there, as well, and joined us for nearly 30 minutes. Back then, I had no idea they were such good friends. The two of them were sweethearts that night and both remain incredibly genuine to this day. Nats back got the best of her playing career, but she remains an important ambassador for the LPGA. I do think we will see more of her on the sidelines in the years to come.

Saw her on a commercial just a few minutes ago. She was on one of those Back Surgery Doctors advertisements. I think it was for Spinal Centers of America you know the ones that list all the stuff they can correct with just a 1 " incision. Said that "they helped her get her life back" No joke just stating the facts
