no interest for the Seniors Open Championship??

Love all these types of posts....You wouldn't be saying this if he was an American!! Blah blah blah. Total deflection. It's a specialty around here.

Bernard Langer is pressing his left forearm against his chest when he putts. I don't need him to lie and tell me he's not doing it. I don't need Brandel Chamblee to tell me that he is. And I certainly don't need the ruling bodies to tell that I don't quite understand what I can see with my own two eyes.

The other explaination that's fascinating on this forum: Well, the ruling bodies say that he's not, so it's a moot point.

Okay... You poor robots. I'm sorry that you choose to listen to others blindly, than do the research (simple in this case) and state your own beliefs. Very sad.

It's a conspiracy !

BAAAAAaaaaaaaaa.....

???

Have a great week Bro?

Bro, As I have "sundowners" I'm up watching stuff that no normal sane individual should be subjected to however the other night/morning at 4:30ish, I'd watch the GC show twice before so I changed to a channel with a bass fishing tournament~

?????

These guys have shirts/tops on that look like a friggin NASCAR shirt/top with all of their sponsors

Ugliest shirts that I've ever seen, lmao

I fished when I was little and my GrandPap took me though I can't believe that people watch this stuff and there were guys cheering from shore??

However I guess some peeps might think that we're weird cuz we can sit there and watch a golf tourney for 4-5 hours, lol

To each his own I guess, haha

Have a nice evening?

I'd rather see the web.com event on tv than a senior event.

Goes without saying. Web.com is a very high standard. Langer wouldn't contend in web.com events no matter how hard he cheated.

Bro, normally We're on the same side of the table however I believe that Bernhard, while he might not pull the "W" out, could definitely Play and on some tracks contend.

He's still got serious game.

I haven't Played with him though I did Play a group behind him however the putting style was legal in 2012.

I've gotta believe that his current style is legal because his character and integrity has NEVER been called into question and he is a Legend amongst his peers and Bob Ford said his current putting style is legal and that's all I've gotta hear.

Anyhoo, I hope that you're well?

My Best?

I refuse to watch the seniors while they allow Langer to anchor/ not anchor, touch his chest, not touch his chest while putting. I like all his peers find it very difficult to call someone out for braking the rules but I think we all know where everyone stands on this.

I'll won't watch the seniors tour until they fix the rule and stop guys like Langer from anchoring. It worked for the NFL and Kaepernick so hopefully it will work here too.

I followed the guys around at Scioto at last year's Senior US Open, and I have to say that it wasn't particularly interesting. As much as I admire the work ethic of some of them, their brand of golf just isn't very remarkable or entertaining.

It's golf ! what level of entertainment are ya shootin for here?

Wow, I would never critique what someone considers "remarkable or entertaining" as those are such an individualistic emotions however keep in mind that these guys are all +4 to +6's under some of THE most competitive conditions in the sport, lmao

Granted, it's not the PGA however having Played with a few of these guys, along with a Competitive +5(former card carrying member of the PGA Tour) and a +5.7(Former PA State Am Champion) who both missed getting their cards in Q -School and they all can make a golf ball dance

Call me a dick however I find that entertaining as hell??

Stay well Gents?

Has any of you ever putted with a long putter, and especially in the wind, it's a definite disadvantage . Personally i hate the rule, anything that can keep people stay in the game Im all for. Long putters saves guys backs, they help people with the yips and allows them to play the game. Watch langer on a 4ft putt , the long putter is no help. In my opinion what kucher does is worse and the tour allows that . I trust the rules officials .Right now he is at the top of his game and at 59 it's amazing.

I understand the younger players here not being very fond of the senior tour, but for us seniors, it's all about we can still be competitive as we age. I personally can't relate to the young guns tour and par 5's that are a driver and wedge. Even in my best days in my 20's and i could really hammer the ball, it was rare that reaching par 5's in 2 was an all the time occurrence. Even the seniors are still very capable of reaching some 5's in 2, with the new balls and clubs. It was refreshing though to watch Pavin weave his way around the course and wearing out his 3 wood and hybrids. Watching him putt with that Titleist bullseye putter sure brought back some good memories. I just might have to dig through the attic and see if i can find my old bullseye and give it a try.

I consider myself still a relatively young guy (mid 30s) and I enjoy the Champions tour product. The Langer controversy does hurt it a bit for me in recent years, but that doesn't take away what these guys still do on a golf course. I've been lucky enough to play at a club that is the home base for both a PGA tour and LPGA tour regular. I've gotten to see them in action up close which is awesome. Last fall I played in a scramble and was paired with a Champions Tour golfer (albeit not a real active one) and was still impressed with his game. And this was a guy who was a stud on the PGA tour but has probably only played in his spare time for the last 10 years. So I would think anyone would still be impressed with what guys like Langer, Couples, Vijay, Stricker, etcetera can still do in their 50s.

Surprised that putters are used in American Rugby.
