Based on my playing experience - stubbed chip shot, leave par putt 3' short, miss bogie putt, tap in for 6.

my gut says there is an epidemic of PED use on tour... I know no one wants to hear it/talk about it, but it's really the perfect storm. The PGA tour is extremely secretive about PED violations AND there is a huge boost in players physique and ball speed/length. It's not far fetched to think that something is causing that like PEDs.

Saw an interview with Phil after the round. Initially thought it was just sweat, but when they did a close up with high def TV helping his skin looks like a teenager with raging acne.. Suppose it could be the psoriatic arthritis medication, something is messing with his skin big time..

 

Could be. But I'm 38 and certain foods will trigger me to this day. I have very oily skin. Pretty irritating condition at times . I just have to be careful and stay away from most grease , ( pizza , fries , chili ) and chocolate. Good sides are mosquitos don't bother me. And I don't burn in the sun.

 

or he's juicing... one of the most common side effects of steroids....

But I would not be surprised if a lot of top level pro golfer are doing it and the PGA tour is suppressing the data and/or just straight up not testing effectively to protect their brand/money.

He’s half Italian. Oily skin and sweating in high humidity/hot conditions is a curse to the skin sometimes.
