Sun Jae Im has been creeping around the leaderboard this year like Fabb creeping around the ace bandage section at CVS.

 

People will line up for cheaper gas and free food like fools. Last week at the club, we had the members grill opening party and the joke was that you see guys lining up for a chicken wing that you won't see at the club the other 364 days during the year.

 

I like time a lot more than money and I hate waiting in lines, a lot.

I'm definitely getting in a round this weekend. Probably just Sunday morning with HBD and possibly Buttery if he's in town. I'm undecided on the whole blitz/skins thing, but it don't matta. Ball golf will be played.

Anyone else notice that movies and tv shows are really leaning into to making their own gifs these days? I noticed a bunch of them for Us and for Once upon...

 

I know that gifs from movies and tv shows have been around forever, but I don't ever remember them coming out concurrently with the trailers with studio marks on them. All of the ones from "High Maintenance" have the title on them.

 

If you go to giphy, theres now a "latest" section that has the newest ones from "Us" and suggestions for "friday gifs".

the lines at beltsville costco are way different from elkridge. go there about 9 AM pre DC visit and you don't wait.

spent like two hours working on short game in 40 degrees and gale force winds today. hit some balls too but got mega bored about 20 shots in. just so windy.

the no laying up podcast with eddie pepperell was REALLY good. must listen. I've not liked pepperell in the past because i got this "i think i'm the smartest guy in the room" vibe from him. Not any more. And. Some people are just darker than others. I'm super optimistic naturally. He's not. That's just different. I found their finances of golf conversation super interesting. that's burying the lead though.

speaking of monsters, the DCGT is still alive.  season opening two person team scramble at woodmore on sunday march 31st.  is the full 2019 dcgt schedule up yet?  hells to the no.  but at least this event's registration is open.  $65pp, pay in pro shop the day of.  a free future replay round certificate included.  send an email to [email protected] with your partner's name if you want in.

Amazing that’s not a readily available stat. We have basketball-reference.com for nba and baseball-reference.com for baseball etc etc but nothing like that for golf.
