Ha ha... I was thinking green side

Go with what everyone else said...

I tend to open the face up a little and play for a fade.. adds loft to my club so i get the height

Just remember keep your legs quieter for full bunker shots.

Let me preface by saying I should never be giving actual golf advice to anyone, let alone a stick like you.

IMO, biggest issue with bunker play, in general, is the lack of adequate practice facilities. Little Bennett has an awesome practice facility complete with a small short game area and bunker. The bunker is situated between the short game green and the range so I have taken range balls to the bunker and practiced 'fairway bunker' shots with all kinds of clubs hitting balls from bunker out into the range.

I get mildly terrified of any shot that I haven't tried (successfully) in a practice scenario several times. The lack of positive points of reference to draw off of sends my brain into a total downward spiral of negativity.

I agree with this. Ball back in stance is key.

I also agree that it is laughable that I would be offering any golfing advice whatsoever to the guy who shot 64 last week.

I thought Irish Nachos were your favorite, but whatever.

Are you saying "cynar and spinach dip" as in the cynar is IN THE DIP?

I've been watching "The Taco Chronicles" on Netflix. It's a 6 part docu-series, each one about a different kind of taco. Some of the voiceover is from the taco's point of view. I've been on a taco kick the last couple weeks.

This is Marven. . .the lady of basket tacos.

You'll learn in time what it's good for.

Apparently, it's not just time, or post count. There's a "cleverness index" attached to each post that is voted on by a team of independent golf writers. If your post is particularly noteworthy in the world of golf, or about tacos, you achieve a high index. If it's a statement like, "I need more pop from my hybrid", low index.

Here's something:

Anyone else ever type "19" into the browser address bar to get to this thread? As in - you've been here so often that if you type in "19", it shows the URL for the 19th hole and you just click on it? I do that.

But sometimes, my hands work too fast and I don't get to the thread, I do an unintentional google search for "19", and the first result is a music video by Paul Hardcastle for a song called "19", which is an 80's synthpop/breakdance song about the Vietnam war.

is it possible I tried fernet in Italy? At one little mom and pop dinner place the owner brought over a couple of small glasses of some sort of after dinner drink when he brought the bill - super tiny glasses but with stems, like uber shrunken down wine glasses. Anyway, I had no idea what it was and since my after dinner drinks are normally coffee or scotch - it wasnt my thing. But I've always been curious what it was and reading about it now, it sounds like it came from Italy initially.

Yes. It is Italian and is, I think, originally/primarily used as an "digestif". Bitters are supposed to help digestion or something. I'm not looking into it's history, but I don't think it was ever meant to be much of a mixer.

Does 2nd Swing still have a bunch of accessories for '2 for' and '3 for' deals?

I was there the first week they opened and I was most impressed on the hats and gloves. I got 4 Nike Elite Tour (? something like that, the all cabretta leather version) and 2 Titleist snap back trucker hats for $40 total. They were all 3 for $20. Seemed crazy good.

Not that I remember. It's like a Vietnam protest song. I think it's where I learned about post traumatic stress disorder.

In my head, I have it mixed in with "Amadeus" by Falco, maybe just because there's a repeating lyric. I might have guessed it was Falco. I didn't remember the artist.
