Any of y'all fight early extension / high handle? Any favorite drills to help correct this?

I quadruple checked my bag this time lol.

I did just enough poorly today to put up a garbage round. Pair of doubles didn't help. I had straight forward looks to try and get up and down from 30 yards in fairway for bird, and converted none. Two times I 3-putted from inside 25ft for bogey when PQ needed me to carry the hole. Those were soul crushing. It's one of those weird days where aside from a couple clearly bad shots, it wasn't that poor of execution. Just the worst possible combination of things turning into awful scoring. Almost every time PQ needed me to pick up the team, I just wasn't there. Not great. It beats working for sure, but definitely not one to hang my hat on.

Looks like Dom and buttery had a great day out there. Well played, gents!

I usually flare my right foot a tiny bit (usually it's square), but what really helps me for some unknown reason is to set the face square/borderline closed at address. I play my full shots with the face sitting fairly open at address, so having it square is very different visually for me. It seems to help me get the low point just a little extra forward to ensure I get good contact. I also do not club down or swing easy. With that square face, I think I come in and drive it with a bit more shaft lean than normal shots. I'm more likely to club down than club up, honestly.

It's late and I can't sleep. Whatevs.

Had a weird thing where I wore a new pair of shoes and could feel the reverse side of the spikes poking in the sole of my right foot (normally wear spikeless). Now, 5 days later, I feel like my foot's "ecosystem" -for lack of a better term- is all jacked up. Nerves down there feel like they are always on, which results in a constant tingling sensation.

It doesn't hurt, but I don't like it. And I want it to stop.

Suggestions for fixing? I've tried OTC rubs, a foot massage, an ice bath, a warm bath, extended time off it, wearing socks to bed... Acupuncture up next if it doesn't get better by next week. Kinda at a loss at this point.

City deemed my feet to be somewhat healthy looking when he was eye effing them when we were night drinking in pajamas at Pinehurst Resort this past February. I had fallen asleep and woke up at 2am to the sound of his distinctive nasally laughter in the common area of our quarters, so of course I had to come out and have a nightcap. Unbeknownst to me, not wearing socks was going to lead to a topic of discussion on my feet, and feet in general (guess who led that conversation off a cliff and into a gale of snuckles for everyone). Some of my best memories about that trip with you guys have nothing to do with the actual golf.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask for some foot advice. Now I'll hang up and listen. Cheers bros.

Total long shot...try some calf and hamstring stretches. When I had plantar fasciitis, those two area were the ticket to getting rid of it. Different foot ailment but worth a try.

IMO nail polish is way easier than paint - its what I use to do my paintfill. You can be as messy as you want putting it on, let it dry for 20-30 seconds, then take a paper towel with a dab of nail polish remover on and gently wipe it over the numbers. The polish thats in the number will stay on and the stuff on the club will clean off. Much easier/cheaper/less hassle than paint IMO and you have a million colors to choose from.

Feet feels can start in the spine. Could be foot, leg/hip (from sitting), spine, maybe even neck (like a pinched nerve). You're talking about the appendage at the end of the of the nervous system chain. It seems like it started because you could feel the spikes, but maybe they made you walk funny or something.

The other day I went to the barber and they had a book there that was the history of anatomical drawing. It was kind of amazing. The old stuff, they would "pose" the cadavers doing natural things, like sleeping under a tree, but with their guts and genitalia exposed.

When you wipe the excess, it's good to always use a clean section (on each pass) of towel/cloth to prevent more smearing too.

Yeah. "The Irishman" should be good.

The "Zombieland 2 : Double Tap" trailer has me excited. Maybe "The Joker".

There's a David Crosby documentary coming out that Cameron Crowe was involved in (not director, but exec producer). That should be good. Trailer is good. I heard a pod with Cros the other day and he was like, "I didn't want someone to make a shine job."

LOL. Should have lots of drugs and fighting in it.
