Stock shaft should be the HZDRUS Black Smoke in the Sub Zero, and the Tensei Blue in the standard head.

 

Thinking back on my meeting, I honestly think the club that I was most excited to see, and held/fondled most of the meeting as my rep was discussing everything, was the Toulon Las Vegas (#7 headshape). The finish, the double bend and flow neck options, and Toulon finally offering the diamond milling all across the face and not just the center...putter was beautiful. No joke, probable the best looking putter I've ever seen.

I have never gotten along with mallet heads. I wanted to love the #7 as it is obviously a great design judging by how much play it gets. I can just never pull the trigger when I am looking down at it.

No, the X Forged UT is going to be the current line for a while. I absolutely love my 18° & 21° sticks, and I could probably use the speed and forgiveness of the 27° & 30° as well! But, Ollie had a 16° of the older Apex UT, so I know he has some stashed that are the newer X Forged UT version somewhere and I am just crazy enough to believe that I NEED one!

No, they are chrome.

 

So Xander's irons are the new Apex Pro, how would you describe the non pro version of the Apex? Also, thoughts on the "Flash" driver and wedges?

The 815 DBD was beautiful. Didn't like the 816 as much myself. I just love that tall face. Confidence inspiring for me I guess. Tee it high and let it fly!

Ugh. I was hoping they would get away from the bowling ball on a stick look of the rogue and epic.

 

It’s has a deeper shorter look to it vs rogue. And an alignment mark on the crown similar to m1 etc. it’s all black but has a pronounced line where the crown materials meet. The rep said pros feedback said that was a fav aspect of TM woods. The color break on top cor alignment. And back to epic green graphics on sole. Sliding weighs in the regular head. Didn’t see the bottom of the subzero.

I talked to a Callaway rep at the Sanderson Farms tournament, he said the adjustable hosel was coming back to the 2019 fairway woods "Epic Flash". He also said the sliding perimeter weight will make its return in the driver.

Also interested to see what they do with the ball. I have been a huge Callaway guy for years, using 14 clubs almost for the last 5 exclusively, but I absolutely HATE the CS and CSx. This coming from someone who used the Supersoft for 3 years and the SR balls before that. For me, the CS is terrible. I keep buying some and trying to like them and the more I play them, the more I hate them. Now the TP5X, that's a different story.
