Saw the driver and it looks really good, especially at address. The color scheme is a little different though, reminds me of the old Sonics:

Green and yellow is a hot color combo. John Deere was onto something with it. I have it in my Scotty Cameron (custom job by J-Rich / Putter Spa after I sent it into him) and get compliments all the time on it.

 

Looking forward to the new Callaway product.

I don't understand it either. The 2016 Apex lineup had a blended set option though that was all satin. Maybe they'll offer something similar?

 

Yes, this is what is happening for the blended set. Will come as one configuration with the model break occuring where Callaway wants it, and the finish will be uniform. Just like the official blended set of 2016 Apex. Finish for the blended set is rumored to be satin, but reps not given that info as of yet.

 

Yes, the combo set will have a satin finish.

End of February all Apex irons will be released in a smoke finish, that looks really awesome. You can get the official combo set with slightly tweaked Apex Pros in 8-PW (loft and sole) or mix an match as you wish with the regular Apex and Apex Pro.

Yuck, why not just throw a brown chevron on the crown, might as well make it as hideous as possible. I don't get these colors,they turn people away, just make it matte black.

I haven't cared for the color scheme of the last 2 drivers. Green and an aqua blue? But, at least they are on the bottom of the club. Hopefully they keep the crown a little cleaner than the Epic. I didn't care for the way the green accents lined up on the head. It made me want to close the club face for some reason to center the break between the paint.

Be PM grind wedges have a higher toe than usual. Just saw them. I still prefer the TM Hi-Toe wedge

Have you hit the new driver yet? If so, any thoughts between the G400 you currently have vs the new Epic? I just picked up a G400 LST and was impressed in the one round I actually got to use it. If I am going to go the route of the new Epic, I am going to need to get rid of it before I pull the trigger. I know I don't have the will power to hold out until next season. I will hit them head to head on a GC2 indoors. But, I never really get real world numbers in that place. They only have those thick rubber tees that are either too high or too short. Plus, hitting into a net doesn't give me a great deal of confidence that what I am seeing on the screen matches what would happen in the real world.

Not a fan of the hi-toe wedge at all. They replaced my worn out PM wedges this year but I never got comfortable with them for some reason. I’m going to switch back to my PMs, I just hope the new ones are similar the older models.
