Its just a foil treatment to the sole. That was bound to happen really quickly IMO. I'd have expected that to last less than a round.

On that note, does anyone have any wear pictures of the AM1 Grass or Payday shoes after a few wears? I know the Payday had some 'money' that was actually sticking out of the soles that was supposed to wear off?

Just returning them. They're sold out and it's just going to happen again so not worth dealing with them IMO.

These aren’t bad at all. I can fit these. I have a couple women’s size in size 10.5. Fits to me like normal men’s size 9.

Mine came with a sticker on the sole that specifically said the red would wear off. Not sure if that's their version of a COA or not.

I agreed 1000 percent :), is expected and bound to happen. maybe some miss out on the US open version, is the same-thing, the orange foil on the bottom wear over time.

And the shoe, have sticker warning that it will wear over time.

It's all good and well to put a sticker on the shoe but do they state that online in the description? Unlikely. Pretty lame i reckon.

Over time would have been fine. After one round is unacceptable to me. They weren't my only pair of golf shoes so I'll just move on from those and be just fine. Lol. And, it made selling the BRED XIs an easy decision.

Since the Safari AM1 is more like the street version, do they size like the street version of the golf version?

Wish I could buy some of these fancy shoes, but as a walker I'd have a difficult time wearing them and not feeling awful about it. White tour premiers already give me anxiety.
