yea, you are prob in minority in this thread. I never really like any Nike shoes till I put on tp and man do I love them. I think the all white with grey swoosh look sharp with just about anything someone could wear. If you are into any boa or no lace shoe, it is def the best looking one imo

Agreed, TP to me the best, very stable and the most comfortable golf shoe. I have all the colorway release (except the silver reflective Open release), rocking the hot punch the last few rounds.

I’ve always disliked the looks of the TP. That said, if I could find the hot punch colorway I’d absolutely wear them. The TP/hot punch is how that shoe should look. The black and white are just bland and boring IMO. But I love the hot punch enough to give them a try if I find them.

yes for a year I didnt like them, I finally tried them on and bought a pair straight away, they are now the best shoe I have ever worn.

 

I just got a pair of AM1s and wore them today, TP still a much better shoe but I liked on a dry links course that is finally drying out a little.

@jjrussell12 if they were, it would not be an “off white” shoe. Maybe just the air max 90. The original shoe is on stockx for ~600$

I like the sole on those. I don’t have a pair of the air max 90, but I would be concerned about the stability in the originals with the air cushion. Anybody have any input on that?

Are you speaking of the air max 90 golf shoe? There’s no air in the air max 90 golf, that’s why they are called Zoom 90. Only forefoot Zoom.

 

You can call the air max 1 golf shoe an air max since it still uses air. Would be cool to see an actual air max 90 with the air on a golf spiked sole.

 

Both are spikeless. I don’t own the AM1 G but I do still own the Zoom 90 and I like them. I think that’s the only spikeless shoe that I’ve kept the past few years.

Gotcha. I was confused on the model, so thanks for the clarification. I may have to look into a pair of the zooms.

I don’t know if like Ross or Burlington stores will still have them since they are a couple years old, but you can try eBay. I’ve seen some for like $50 or so shipped in some colors. Even the black/white ones. This is the only color I have of the zoom 90.

The AM1 traction is far greater than the Zoom 90s, from my understanding.

 

IF (a big if) AM90 become a real model for Nike Golf in 2020 (how about some “actual” Infrareds??) maybe Virgil Abloh (founder of Off-White, which was just sold to Farfetch) could get a limited collab done for the course...he’s notably been referencing BK’s customs this week.

 

Likely a dream, but after going 0/15 on the Off-White releases, I would love to see the actually released on the course...
