How would you say the stock shaft on the G400 max compares to the stock shaft on the g30?

I didn't mind the stock G400 shaft, but eventually I found it a little weak in the tip resulting in unexpected hooks. The TFC 419 is a little firmer in the tip and flex.

 

I agree regarding the stock Alta shaft in the G400. Dispersion was the biggest problem for me. I just couldn't hit it consistently - sometimes right, sometimes left.

Still waiting on these g410 irons. It will decide if I want to upgrade the shafts in my current ie1 irons or just buy a new set.

Any word on if there’s a new crossover? If so is it similar style to the g400 or more of a driving iron? Also curious if Ping will come out with another driving iron option. A spin-off of the i500 for better players?

I will not stray from my Titleist TS2 even for Ping. Now the irons I might be willing to give a go!

I understand it would be not good for the Xmas purchases, but they should pull a couple of pics out.

 

In any case, everybody that follows the new releases already knows that they will replace the G400 line in Jan/Feb and will not buy before.

 

Whoever doesn't know, he will still not know if a couple of pics will start circulating.

Driver (except max which is not being replaced), fairways and hybrids have all been reduced. Not sure about irons as I havent looked at them recently.

Don't lose any sleep over this. They will be higher than the G400 stuff, guaranteed.
