I don't agree with your post at all.

I looked them over closely, and they are a really good looking club, with beautiful aesthetic features. I love the satin like finish and the clean lines. The black and red color scheme is handsome and majestic looking.

Regarding your post, I wouldn't ever make a flat statement that a club looks "super cheap".. That's all in the eye of the beholder, and its up to people's own interpretation.

Anyway, I suggest you all make sure to view them in person, hit the demo clubs, then make your own personal decision. I don't think you'll be at all disappointed.

Hey man, I'm the dude

Any idea why the 410 also says "plus" on the bottom? Isn't that one the standard model? I know there is an LST and SFT.... Can't you just write nothing like the g400 line?

Plus is the new MAX.

Interesting theory. Because it is more forgiving than the regular g400 but are we sure it beats the max?

The Plus would not be the new Max. The Max replacement should be out later in the year. And according to info (it's also in the PGA Tour Superstore link from earlier in the thread), the Plus model has a 1% higher MOI (over the G400, not the Max) when the weight is in the neutral position. So that means the G410 Plus' MOI isn't higher than the G400Max. So the Max will still be the most forgiving PING driver until it's replaced.

@ Chris975D..... 1% higher Moi than the 400, but that 1% is not higher than the Max?? So the upcoming Max still trumps them all. Absurd! Who's gonna really notice 1%?? Thanks for your above reply.

Well, the "Plus" is for the increased adjustability in the new hosel adapter and the moveable weight. I do think PING has created a bit of an unusual situation for themselves with the launch of the G410. It's going to be a $500 price point driver, a first for PING. Yet they are going to have a $299 G400 (SFT, standard, and LST) that are still some of the best drivers ever made, and a $399 G400 Max that's STILL the most forgiving driver ever made. So they are going to be trying to sell a $500 driver while they are also selling a driver that's $200 less (G400 std and LST) than this that's just as good, and a $100 less driver (Max) that's MORE forgiving than the $500 new model. It's kind of a bit of a mess...something as a retailer I usually don't see PING creating for themselves.

Everyone will find out soon. I think Monday. Let PING tell their story before everyone jumps to conclusions

Remember, as a retailer, I've been hearing the story for a few months from PING now. I do think the staggered/later release of the oG400 Max from the rest of the G400 family has created a situation for them. I've already seen evidence of that with the price drop on everything but the Max. The consumer doesn't quite understand it.

Hoping they don’t trend down the road of a “few” other OEMs. I’ve got a 400 but liked the g30 better for some reason. I’d like to try the Max as the couple shafts I have will work in it. Like to try it head to head with my Cortex. Thanks again for your replies. Sounds like you’re definitely in the loop. I’ll keep following

Some of us have seen the G410 line and had an opportunity to hit them. The driver is a slight improvement over the G400 in terms of MOI and has greater adjustability on the hosel and sliding weight on the perimeter. There will be no LST version until July but the G410 head produces only 100rpm more than the G400 LST. The G400 Max will continue in the lineup and will be the highest MOI head available from PING.

I hit a 9* head with a Tour 65 shaft and was pleased with the ball flight. Launched nice and high and flew straight before falling a little bit right. Its exactly the kind of flight I like, especially because my Miss can be a roping hook. The Tour 65 shaft will not be an upcharge on the 410 driver..

I'm not sure there will be a more forgiving driver introduced in 2019.

There should be a book written about this. Quite frankly ping releasing something in January vs the week of the British open is unfamiliar. But there was a lot of angry people when the Max came out. And I think because ping loyalists are used to the product cycle and all of a sudden another driver appears within months of the original release and there is grandiose betrayal. I get it.

Hit the hybrid with the Tour 85 shaft outdoors at a Ping fitting last week. Will be putting at least (3) one in my bag to replace my Apex 20*.

I've loved the Apex as it can play a lot like a long iron, but getting older and have struggled with consistency with the #3 slot.

The G410 was just easy to launch and very forgiving. Nice tight draw and my misses only leaked a little right. Could hit a cut without trying too hard.

I think the irons look great. If they're as slimmed down as the video implies I'll be taking a hard look.

Agree - Slimmed down & more compact as well. The heel to toe length was always a turn off for me with the G line clubs. This may be the year I finally get to play an all Ping bag top to bottom. Just based on looks & reviews I've seen or read it's going to be between Ping & Cobra.

Just watched Mike Newton's review... on thing I did notice is the new adapter... it has more "lumps" to match up with the head for adjustment purposes. Should there be a concern with the lack of material at the hosel of the head? I know I had a G400 crack there, as some others did, it seems with the design of the adapter and more adjustments they've taken away more material from the head there. Unless they were able to strengthen it a bit somehow? Wondering if we may see some issues, otherwise, it wasn't overly impressive. They really did well with the 400, tough to beat IMO.
