I have a Yes! Callie I got a few years ago off eBay brand new for $35. Great putter especially for the price. The Callie puts a very nice roll on the ball, when you hit it solid it just hugs the line and rolls end over end.

Driver - Callaway Epic Max LS 9.0
3 wood - Cobra F8
Irons 3-PW - Mizuno MP54
Wedges - Vokey SM5 50°, Cleveland Zipcore 54°, Cleveland Zipcore 58°
Putter - Odyssey Stroke Lab 3

Had a Yes Sandy mid mallet for a few years. Loved the feel and roll but wanted a centre shafter putter so eventually parted with it and toyed with various Odyssey No7s until Kari Lajosi came to my rescue.

Titleist 913 FD 15 degree (Diamana S+ stiff)
Mizuno JPX EZ 19 & 22 degree Hybrid (Stock stiff)

Can't subscribe to the "any amount of time" bit unfortunately....

I did "invest" in a like new Mollie a couple of weeks ago - she'll be out for her second round tomorrow.

My view is that she's as good as any of the other putters I've rolled over the years - Ping, Odyssey, Scotty, Never Compromise. I like the roll, feel etc. My initial reaction is that it'll be in the bag for the forthcoming season (however, this is WRX so that should probably read "until at least tomorrow"....)

Cheers

Great putters that we’re priced FAIRLY. Wish they were still around.

Oh wait, they are still around. But priced stupidly. They’re now called Cameron Phantom putters.

Here is my trifecta of Yes! Tour putters. Pippi, Bella and Jenny. Look, feel and roll as good as anything out there. I could put any of these in my bag (which I do from time to time) and be happy.

Those look great, and are getting harder to find. I looked for a Jenny for a while but had a hard time finding one that hadn't been dragged behind a truck.

Thanks man. I keep good care of all of my babies... I just looked back, and I picked up the Jenny and Pippi in 2014, and the Bella in 2016. All were from Dallas Golf, and it was obscene how low priced these were at the time (all around $50 each). They were out there though, and there was a decent amount (of course, less in LH generally).

I was happy to pick up the Bella, since as one can see, though both flow necks, it has less offset than the Jenny (different head shapes as well). The Pippi Mid was 38”, which I cut down to 35” or 36”, and put a heavy long Winn grip on it. These Yes! Tour putters were and are classics though.

Between those and the Nike hauls people were pulling, sounds like I need to keep a closer eye on Dallas Golf...

Great putters. The Tour models are fantastic.

Hey Bro, I hope all’s good and you’re havin a great New Year?

Yea, the old Tour collection is sick!!

I’m talkin their 2008-2011 putters cuz while I’m sure that the newer ones are great also, to me, their color schemes, especially that god awful yellow, looks cheap, at least to me.

I’ve got 5-6 of em, 4 being Tour and this these two were in my rotation.

The story behind the Abbie is kinda funny as I was In the Mylan Pro-Am and got paired with Colt Knost and we had been introduced the previous evening at the pairings party though I knew that I was with Colt before that as he’s a good friend of my Tour Bud and he arranged it. So we’re on the green pre-round and he had this Abbie(minus the pink, lol?), a Tracy Tour Forged and a Scotty T Newport 2. So I see this layin there, I ask if I can run it and he said sure, and Bro, the head weight was perfect(his was 370gr, not the std 360), the feel superb and I was in heaven, lolol. I rolled about a half dozen and Colt walked over and asked me what I thought of it. I said that I loved it and he asked if I loved it enough to putt him for it, lol.

My first question was what putter did I have that he wanted and he walked over, picked up a customized Newport 2 that had “Big Dog” stamped on the face side toe. That’s the nickname that my college teammates had given me my freshman year and though I didn’t go by any nicknames publically, cuz they seem so “jockish,” lol, in certain arenas/situations I liked that nick name, and the golf course was one such arena, lolol it turned out that also was Colt’s nickname, given to him by his grandpap when he was the biggest kid in his elementary school class and I guess it still stuck.

So I said sure and I said that I’d pick the game and I chose “PIG,” one because we only had about 20-25 minutes before we had to hit the tee and secondly, there were other guys on the green so flexibility was key, lol.

Long story short, I won, “PIG” to “P,” lol.

Oh yea, Colt used his gamer and he was amazed that I chose to go with his Abbie, which I’d only run about a half dozen putts with.

I laughed and told him no biggie as I planned on having it in my bag when we teed off, lol

Hey, it ain’t bragging if ya do it?, lol

So that’s how I came to acquire the Abbie.

The Sophia was acquired the traditional way, off my driving range’s rack, as we carried the YES line.

When I go with my 8802, the Sophia and the Cally Black Tour #8 are in that rotation.

If I had to get rid of every putter but three, it’d be the Abbie, Scotty Newport T & my 8802 that Mitch sent me cuz Mr. Palmer signed mine that I’d Played since I was 16yo(1976), so it’s outa the loop and on the wall, lol.

For anyone looking at YES, I’d look at the 2008-2011 putters and I’ve seen a lot of really nice lookin putters from that vintage on the Bay.

One, I really believe that you’re getting the very best that YES has to offer and secondly, you can get some great prices!

As always, just my .03 worth?

Anyhoo, have a great season Brother

My Best,

Richard

In the end, only three things matter~

How much that you loved...

How mightily that you lived...

How gracefully that you accepted both victory & defeat...

GHIN: Beefeater 24

I've been using a Yes! Madison for almost 7 years now. I snagged it brand new for $13 dollars at a local golf shop in 2012. It is probably one of the worst looking putters every made, but for some reason I just can't seem to justify getting rid of it.

Everyone I play with laughs when I walk to the green with it. They often call it a spaceship or an aircraft carrier. Lets just say that they aren't laughing too much when I take their money at the end of the day.

Anyways, love my yes putter. Can't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.

This thread had me go look at my old putters setting in the man-cave, I won back to back club championships with The Yes Dawn Tour Forged, the black Callie was my first yes putter. I think yes golf was ahead of its time 10 years ago, especially with the Dawn. It was forged 303ss cnc milled putter. Too bad another putter company didn't buy them out.

I love the looks of Sophia, she's just a touch too petite for me. I had to stick with Valerie and Mollie.

Richard - seems you may be a Yes! afficianado. I just posted what appears to be a pre-Yes! C-groove in this forum to see if anyone has details on it. Let me know what you think as I don't recall where I obtained it from or even when for that matter.

 • 1 year later...

I have a YES Callie that I bought years ago, it is an amazing feeling putter, I was lucky to caddy for Jonas Blixt at the Sony Open in 2009, he was using a YES putter, right after the tournament I went and got the Callie, if it was good enough for a tour player I had to give it a try and it was not expensive either...great putter for sure and definitely underrated!!!
