Sadly a number of top European Tour players are skipping this one.

No McIlroy, Garcia, Molinari, Stenson, Rahm, Noren, Casey, Poulter or Hatton.

Quite a bunch of Race to Dubai contenders.

Guff tournament at a "resort" course.

I'd rather be watching the final event of the Challenge Tour in UAE to see who is getting their cards for next year.

Yeah, almost looks like your ordinary pga course

On TV, I have to agree, it looks this way. Having played the course several times it feels different, it`s really stunning and fun to play.

Quite a few of our members have played this course. Always in stunning condition and very playable for most hcp levels. The resort is world class. Not the greatest test....but look at the top of the leader board and the best are scoring the lowest. I am definitely planning a trip to this venue. And yes I am also really keen to see who gets through the challenge grand final. The guy out front absolutely crushes it.

Where has the 2 time winner of this tournament Victor Dubuisson been?!

I love victor, think he had an issue with a popped ear drum which has ruled him out indefinitely, assume he can't fly

Don't forget to play PGA Sultan & Lykia Links while there.

Carya is the best course in Belek. Much better than Montgomery.

Agree, it`s better than Montgomery, but only 4th on my list.

Be careful about Lykia Links. Although it`s my 2nd favorite course in Belek make sure that it is in good condition, can be sketchy at times.

My fellow countrymen has not done overly much damage of lately. Both Stenson and the two alexes have been out of form. Kinhult has been reasonably successful, seems like the only hope for the future. In US there is nada.

Wallace has had another great first round tournament. Goes into the tournaments with positive thoughts seemingly.

Rose is da european man at the moment. Seems like the one with the best lowest level play of all the guys at the moment.

Only 3 out of the top 10 in the Race to Dubai standings playing this week. Next week it's even worse with only 1, Rory, playing. Should be embarrassing for the European tour but

Maybe so, but if the FedEx Cup played out like the Race to Dubai does, the PGA Tour would never hear the end of it. Pelley has some good ideas. Seems like he could come up with something better than this to end the season.

Jesus Mark Roe is annoying. Yes Mark it is a lollipop tree you described it as such in your last sentence and the one before and the ten before so you can just say tree now if you want, we've got it.

And while I'm at it yes someone did shout fore as Rose's ball hit that spectator, the shout came as the ball struck, so no it wasn't a good shout. Strange that you bang on week after week about how PGA Tour players never shout fore like the ET players but when that happens at an ET event, well then apparently it didn't, as there is no mention at all.

Bring back McCord. (No I don't really mean that, he's on a rota with Roe).

Roe is even more insufferable than Wayne Riley, and that’s saying something.
