Was watching on my phone on Sky. Saw Rose's putt catch the hole and stay out.

Hope Li puts that one behind him fast. Did great down the stretch otherwise, Rose, always the sportsman in the interviews. But that was not a numero uno way to close a tournament the last holes in regulation.

 

I can definitely see Rose as a commentator somewhere around 2032.

Absolutely rotten finish but Rose is just such a good player. Great win and definitely deserves to be number 1 again. He's been the most consistent for a good 18 months or so.

One concerning factor about him is missed putts in money time. Seen it a few times now. Li let him off the hook. But I’ve seen some really poor strokes for the big ones this year

Total anti-climax of a finish yesterday.

 

Rose is too nice to be World Number 1 for too long. His consistency is unreal (Top 5 in 15 of his last 31 events) but with that many chances to win I think DJ, Koepka, Thomas and others would have closed out an awful lot more.
