blade -- i appreciate the positive vibes -- i just don't see it man. he's been sooo bad...i think it was rosaforte or someone else on the GC who said that in the past his putter would make up for some of his approach shots that didn't come up where he wanted them -- and now that the putter is cold, his iron game is really being put under a looking glass as well. not to mention, he hasn't been splitting fairways either.

 

he needs work, he's slowly getting parts of the game back together but, don't see it yet.

Oh I know it’s been or still is in the ditch. I just mean that when it jumps back up out of the ditch he’ll win by 5 going away or something similar. It’ll be an event. A breakout type thing. And then it’s off to the races.

 

Think on past events. Not even pro. His am record. He owned Justin Thomas for years. Thomas is a great player. But he hasn’t just miraculously gained talent the last 18 months. Spieth also hasn’t lost talent level. If he gets his mind right his upper limit is still above Thomas and many more. Just like It always has been.

 

People like to say fluke because they don’t think his swing is pretty etc. but all those titles aren’t flukes. People need to read and see for themselves. This is just a slump in the whole story of a champions career. There’s far more winning still than this small losing streak. People think his winning was isolated to 2015. Is wasn’t. Started many years before that.

I was trying to make a post but I couldn’t get rid of edits I made to a prior post. I have a post referencing the masters telecast, a Perkins waitress and a foot wedge. Not exactly what I wanted.

- I hope YJS continues to struggle. When he stops whining I hope he finds his game

- Tiger could be Rory long if he had Mickelson's calves

- Pulling for Rors, DJ, Tiger, baby Jesus and Phil.

- Phil should be AMAZING at match play but isn't for some reason. His new distance could help this year at this track

Tough Draw for Jday on paper at least, I don't know what to expect from Phil or Jim this week but lots of heart in that draw and match play seems to bring out those kinds of heroics
