Fabulous first two days. It will be a North vs. South battle for me. (South Africans and Aussies) vs. (Yanks and Europeans).

Would love to see Phil and Kuchar go close for the Yanks, Poulter for the Euros. For my people, Scott wouldn't hurt...but I said a silent prayer for Louis O' to shoot another 66 on Saturday.

Would like someone with a major already under his belt to win. Too many firsttimers who have seen their game deteriorate afterwards last years. Molinari, Day or Oosthuizen, major winners that have done good at AN without winning.

One of the more noticeable things for me is Tigers body shape. He has gone from a more muscular look to a less ripped version of himself. If you look at him during the early 2000s this seems to be more where he’s at now which suits him better. I’m still unsure on the gum chewing. Is it a stress reducer? It’s very noticable and I’m sure there is some reasoning behind it. Looking for Tiger to hang in there today, would love to see him end up in the final group tomorrow.

There are studies that show chewing gum can help you focus. Could be the reason?

I don't really care about that stuff, but I think it's odd the new rollout from a site that goes out of its way (and great by me) to be politically correct includes a button with the label "abuse" with all that brings up these days. Shouldn't even exist and I think its BS. Just report something if you think it needs to be, they make their call, that's sufficient, has been forever.

 

Also noticed moderation on here of some things that wouldn't have lasted a couple hours on here in the past has taken a vacation with the new rollout, but that's for another time, lol.

I just looked through the pin sheet for today. I’m not exaggerating when I say it could be the hardest pin sheet I’ve ever seen at the Masters. Doesn’t mean it will play like a US Open because they are probably expecting the greens to be soft but they couldn’t have set the cups in much tougher spots.
