Seemed to be playing really well at the matchplay, then was off-form for the game against Tiger and since. Seems like the Tiger match knocked him off. He has had 11 bogeys in his first 43 holes, just can't compete making so many mistakes.

For as much as Rory can talk about his new mindset and Brad Faxon helping his putting when the real pressure is on, he still presses too much and misses putts.

I always root for Lou Dog. When he’s in it in a major....he’s got the Number 1 swing on tour that I’m envious off. His physical stature is relatable for me. Laid back attitude. Tinkers with putting style, which again I’m envious of because I wouldn’t dare. Needless to say I’m pulling for him. Always.

 

Molinari. The guy is very very impressive. I love it that he’s from a land of no golfers, and a “*****ly” type of people, and he will beat you in a starring contest any day.

 

Koepka isn’t my favorite player, but man does he get it done in majors. He’s got a secret, and he ain’t tellin’.

 

Adam Scott... a confident Adam Scott iron swing from the middle of a fairway is just beautiful. It’s the model that most teachers show to their students.

 

Phil Michelson. I think he’d trade a win this week for a US Open, obviously. And so would I, for him. Go Phil, because you own it. And that swing on 16 on Thursday made me think, he’s got something special right now.
