Yeah the issue is with THC which CBD should have nothing more than extremely trace amounts (shouldn’t really have any).

It doesn't have to be gum. I bought some gummies while golfing in Myrtle Beach on a Masters holiday this week and thought they were a great combo with golf. It calmed me down but more importantly helped with my chronic back pain and had the added benefit of focus. I had a great round.

 

I can see CBD being a great alternate to the usual beers I normally use as back lubricant.

Hmm, never thought of CBD, figured it was some kind of amino acid infused gum for stamina and recovery. Perhaps it is some combo. Regardless, I don't even know if the tour has a ruling for CBD since it is legal elsewhere.

EAAs and BCAAs are better in powder form, gum would not be enough quantity, as for CBD, i saw some gum with 15mg CBD, which is just a good amount to stay relaxed and focused

Legal until someone fails a test on tour. There is no guarantee that you couldn't get enough THC to fail a test. It's tricky territory saying it's ok to use but THC is a no-no when it comes time to pee in a cup. Hopefully someday the companies that make it can guarantee you won't fail a drug test if you are using it but as of now they cannot.

Nicotine gum/patch could help some people concentrate and focus. I loved the patch when I quit smoking. Years later tried it for concentration and calming while golfing. Unfortunately my scores didn't really improve so I stopped using it.

I don't remember him chewing gum in past tournaments, not even very recent tournaments such as the Match Play event. I would say he needs to keep chewing the gum. Sure as heck worked this week! Go with the baseball superstition. If it's working, keep doing it. Lol

Several golf stores and shops I’ve gone in lately confirm both chew CBD gum for joint and muscle pain. Not surprising, almost overnight, they all are selling CBD pills, gum, lotion, and under the tongue liquid droppers. Certainly a new day, in the past about all courses sold was aspirin for hangovers..don’t know if the ingested forms would show up as THC in the PGA rigorous drug testing.
