My take on him is that his swing has a LOT of moving parts, which leads to his Army golf. It didn't matter when he went on his run, because he was making everything he looked at on the greens. Putter eventually cooled off a bit, and so did he.

yeah, it does ... it's not a simple swing ... some timing issues ...

That's the curse of the shotmaker sometimes. They'll pick the hardest shot choice just to see if they can pull it off. See: P.M.

That said, Woods is pretty pragmatic when it comes to shot selection. Phil on the other hand.....

Joe Buck.....coverage was great until you came on.

He talks about golf like a once-a-year hacker. He just cannot BELIEVE a birdie is possible from the rocks on 18.

Adaptive Golf.....look out for the one-armed man:

Amazing that this narrative is still alive. When he went on his run, I believe he was #1 on Tour approaching the green. He got to where he was with his best-in-the-world iron play and above average driving and putting.

Agree. He was an exceptional putter ~25 feet, other than that mainly above average

He reminds me of that scene in Planes, Trains and Automobiles: "Everything's not an anecdote. You have to discriminate. You choose things that are funny or mildly amusing or interesting. You're a miracle. Your stories

have none of that."

Just not the case. His swing before they made it flatter was as simplistic as a mouse trap.
