Another happy Seamus loyalist here. Started with one driver cover years back and now have all my covers by them (driver, fw, 2 hybrids and a putter). Have tied a few others along the way but not straying away anymore. Lucky enough to meet Akbar as well once- great guy. Made me a ball marker too. Just awesome people there with quality products.

Employed at Winston Collection - we still sell mainly wholesale only and haven’t gotten into the retail side of things yet... it is amusing how many ideas are stolen/recycled in our industry. I do follow some other cover manufacturers on IG but I have not held any in my own hands as I am able to make and build whatever I want from scratch... with that being said, there are definitely some competitors that use the same quality of leather we have and some use inferior or faux leather. Just make sure what you’re paying for is what you think it is. We have seen some quite disturbing embroidery quality in our rounds to clubs and retail stores (I have seen some covers retailing for $99 by competitors that wouldn’t have passed our quality inspection after 1 glance).

Their stuff is awesome!!!!! Driver, 3 wood, Hybrid and putter match my Miura bag perfectly and their interpretation of my logo was pure perfection!

I love knit headcovers and have been using Jan Craigs for years and years. Recently discovered a little company named Fore Ewe, which is part of the Mackenzie bag outfit. Some really great, unusual designs, reasonable prices. The wool yarn seems a bit tighter and smoother than Jan Craig; we'll have to see how they hold up over the years (I have a couple of JCs from the 70s that are still in great shape)

I know this sounds crazy, but premium leather head covers can really way down a bag when you’re a walker. I’ll look for ways to shave half a pound here are a few ounces there, and have noticed that putting premium leather head covers on defeats that goal. I am now a fan of nylon and or knits that are of good quality but light weight from any manufacture. Seamus is a favorite. Wish mfg’s would offer nylon or cordura in colors other than black.

I've had higher end brands but I prefer Back 9 USA covers for my woods. They're well made and relatively inexpensive...

Love Seamus headcovers and have a putter and hybrid cover incoming to replace stock Scotty Cameron and Rose and Fire ballistic (which I still love and will probably rotate in). I think there are a ton of great customizable options that it's really hard to go wrong.

I had a fairway cover and was looking at doing a custom order thru them for the team I coach but they sold the company and did away with headcovers. Back 9 really made some good stuff. With that said, I prefer AM&E covers. I do an order of them just about every year for my school/team. I wish they had a store that would sell blanks, I would probably do a large order.

AM&E putter covers, unless you game an 8802 style blade in which case you have to check out the Rose and Fire blade cover.

 

I have been struggling to find hybrid covers that won't fall off when walking. (The newer Rocket Tour Skinny Sticks do not fit the same as the old ones.)
