Cold Weather Arm Sleeves

With the weather turning cooler shortly here in Mi my thoughts turn to playing in the fall weather.

Anyone use these arm sleeves for cold weather? Teeing off its cool in the am but turning warm in the pm. Usually a windshirt and a golf shirt but seems wearing the sleeves and just be able to pull em off in the pm is a great option. So if you've tried them what brands offer the best fit and warmth?

I think I’ve only used the Nike ones. But I really like them. A really good option for days like you described where it’s cooler when you start and then warms up.

I wear a baselayer then take it off when it gets warm sometimes.

 

But mostly, I wear a mizuno widlite until it gets too hot then take that off.

 

Having tight, skin protecting, moisture-wicking sleeves works for hot days. I’m not sure I’d like a thicker material for cold days compressing my arms.

I got these off eBay for under $11, free shipping, I wear for sun in the hottest conditions, and yeah I sweat, but seems to wick. I always wear XXL everything, I ordered XXX, and they are tight, great compression, sleeves and body. Looks like WRX starred out my triple X.

I have the nike sleeves. I never wear them. If it's cold enough that my arms are cold, my whole body is cold and I have a thin windbreaker Adidas top I wear. I only wear a base layer when I know it's cold enough that I won't need to take it off.

I’ll just wear a polo under a 1/2 or 1/4 zip pullover & take off the pullover when I warm up. Sleeves don’t seem that much easier.

Where it’s easier for me is I can wear the sleeves and and vest with a polo as opposed to wearing a long sleeve mock under the polo. When it warms up it’s much easier to take off the sleeves and the vest as opposed to removing the polo, then the long sleeve shirt, then putting the polo back on.

 

For me anyway, they add a little versatility

I bought a few pairs of the Aegend sleeves on Amazon for the Summer and they worked great. Fairly inexpensive and I think will work fine in the cooler weather also.

+1 for the Nike’s. I have a white and black pair, great fit and stretchy. Keeps the chill off the arms.

These, or any number of the various cycling arm warmers. I used them on the bike for years and now just re-purposed them.

I'm the same way on the sleeves. Have a pair I got a few years back for baseball games where it got cooler at night but I didn't want to be too hot when the game started. Used them a few times for golf but keeping track of them once I took them off was a nuisance, and additionally I didn't like the way they compressed and grabbed around the upper arm. Changed to either long sleeves or a pullover and it was much more convenient.

I have a couple pairs of the Aegend sleeves (buy from Amazon), couple pair of Nike sleeves and a couple pair of the Mission cooling arm sleeves. By far, the Mission sleeves are my favorite, and the Nike's are the ones I never wear. The Mission are the greatest at evaporative cooling and are very comfortable in summer. Nike's seem to be the worst at cooling in summer, so they might be the best for winter warmth.

Another +1 for the Nike's. Wear them all the time in the fall.

I still have my original Nike's from the first year they were introduced. They have been one of the best golf apparel purchases in history for me. They are the perfect Fall/Winter accessory for golf in Texas where it starts cool then heats up.

I have a Bucwild Sports arm sleeves. It improves blood flow and lessens bicep and elbow fatigue from extended gaming sessions. I'd suggest this compressive arm sleeve for athletes whose primary focus is pitching.
