I am a Left Dash player and tried the CS LS last year when it first came out. It was a decent ball but I still didn't see the same distance off the woods with it vs the LD. My main issue with the LS was the durability. It marked up much easier than the LD and wedges would scar it easily.

Supposedly, durability with the XLS was addressed with their ball update along with slightly reducing compression. Interested to see the tangible results of this as it would put the XLS back on the map for potential gamer for me

I’m a left dash player. Zero complaints and it’s fits me very well. I’ve been testing the 22 xls… this may give the LD a run. Still early and the weather isn’t currently cooperating, but a pretty big improvement over the 21 version, which is the 1st Cally ball I liked in many years.

I've been messing around with the 2021 CSX LS and left dash.  Distances are pretty similar and so is spin, but the biggest difference I've seen is that the left dash launches quite a bit higher than the LS.  As a result, the LS is a great wind ball whereas the left dash is great on benign days.  Both of them don't quite spin enough at times with irons for me but they check off the other boxes for me so I'm ok with sacrificing spin.

If you need more spin in the irons, try the ‘22 CSX. That area of the bag is where the X and LS are most different.

Does anyone know if Titleist is still manufacturing these balls, or are they still just sitting around since 2019?  I'm sure if they're a couple of years old sitting in proper conditions, they're negligibly stale, but I'm just curious if they're still actually making these fresh, even though considered a 2019 ball model.

You can buy still. Not sure if these are old stock or new.

If stored properly, balls don’t lose performance. See this vid:

Anyone swap the LD out for something else? I’ve been playing the BStone XS and really like it. Today I picked up a box of the LD and I’m going to try them out on Thursday. Has anyone compared these two balls? The XS is a really straight ball for me off the tee box and does well around the greens.

I currently have the left dash and MTB-X in play and swap them out depending on course conditions.  My cousin plays the B XS and loves them.  He's a low/low player with 140 ball speed so he needs all the spin he can get.  I find them to spin too much for me with irons.  Will be keeping my current setup in play for awhile.

Polar opposites in my experience. BXS is soft and spinny while the LD is not so much.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

That’s the same as he said.  I’ve read it a dozen times lol too.  His cousin loves the BXS cecause they’re soft and spin a lot.  He finds the Bridgestone spins too much so he’ll stick with the left dash.

What am I missing here?

You misunderstood my post.  My cousin loves the B XS so he's gaming them atm.  I'm the one that has the left dash in play.

Same as I said then.  Seems odd that we are thinking it’s different.

You find BXS to spinny, sticks with left dash.

I think my run with the Left Dash is over. One of the best balls Titleist has ever produced with the worst feel around the greens. Was looking for another low spin ball and think I'm fully moving back to the AVX. The Left Dash is the GolfWRX "Blades" golfball. You hit a few pure and your hooked and love it and then the ball punishes you for a few holes and makes you want to quit. LD is still the ball to use on Long Drive holes.
