anyone care to chime in on their opinions of the Lux Pro's? I have an itch for a new pair of shoes and I am looking for a pair to be my "nice" golf course, any condition type of shoe. I currently have some OG's, and knits and I like them both, but I want something a little more traditional looking and the Lux Pro's seem to fit that bill.

Curious how the leather is? Is it the same leather as the OG's, or more along the lines of a tradiotnal FJ type of shoe? Do they hold up well after getting wet and muddy? I have some Biom Hybrid's that seem to stain the leather after getting wet.

I've had a pair for almost 2 years and love them. They are my go to when I might be playing on a very wet day as I know my feet won't get wet. I can't speak to whether they're similar to the OG as I've never had those but they are a soft leather IMO. I also have the Lux Knits and I can say that the Pros are a much better shoe IMO. I wore my Lux Knits on a wet day and my feet were soaked...I did contact TRUE and they gave me a new pair...but now I'm just not confident in their waterproofing like I am the Lux Pro.

I only have a couple rounds in with my Knit II and I love them! Feels like I'm not wearing shoes and I like that.

Knit 2’s are so good. They rubbed my on back of my ankle at a sandy course but fine since then. I might buy one of every color if they have a sale soon.

I'll pile on the Knit 2 love. Walked at least 10 rounds in them this year.

Although for some reason they make my heel go numb while driving my 2017 f350, not in my 97 f350 or my other truck or my car I beat around in.  Odd, I switch shoes or take it off and it soon goes away.

Seats, seating position, I dunno.

Haha. Same thing with me with driving. I think it's because there's no hard heel counter like most other shoes. Besides that, though, I typically wear custom orthotics but not in these. My feet stay pain free all day, er'ry day.

Although I'm not one for spikeless shoes I have been looking into more wide toe box and barefoot/minimalist feel for foot health and strength.

Have been most interested in the True Original 1.2 for several reasons and just so happened to find a pair in my size on ebay. Will get them a try when they come in, see the hype, the feel, the performance and how my feet feel after some usage.

I got my True’s today.  Was supposed to arrive Saturday but they came today! Really happy with my purchase.  Was a huge True fan from the very beginning.  Had 25+ pairs through the years. The last 10 years I’ve stayed away (save for 2 pairs of original knits) because honestly, the styles and the whole company seemed lost.  But these Lux Sport are absolutely a grand slam.  Comfy right “out of the box”, which as True fans know, there is no box because they come in a cool reusable shoe bag and collapsible shoe/thingy organizer.  Also came with a $30 gift certificate and a dead golfer microfiber towel.  It does have a grommet in it so I’m thinking it’s not just for your kicks.

Anyways, again so happy with this purchase.  At $119 these are an absolute steal. A fantastic shoe for work AND golf.  And casual weekends. And light hikes and dinner.  I’ll probably end up wearing these more off-course than on because I don’t wanna muck ‘em all up with dirt and grass stains.  If any of you are on the fence about these shoes, Nike-time it…..JUST DO IT. I’ve had over 200 pairs of golf shoes, from every manufacturer, mostly Nike/AJ’s, and while the AJ 11’s and 12’s probably feel more plush and cush, these True’s are way more versatile and CS is Number 1 in the entire shoe industry.

Just ordered some All Day Knits and hadn't seen this or put 2 and 2 together - wish I could have deciphered that "Knit 2" is what the stans call them vs what the website calls them 😆

Couldn't resist the $119 lux sports.  Now I have three colors in them, two lux pro, two majors, and two knits.   And I tried a pair of the recycled plastic ones...

10 pairs in the rotation ...but some over 2 yrs old ...still on great shape and easy to clean.

Can you compare lux sport to lux knit?

I quite like my Knit 2 but somewhat dislike my lux knit. I find the material to be stiff on the lux knit.

Not asked of me but the lux knit are waterproof.   The have another layer under the knit part.  Knit 2(all day) are mich softer.  The original knit were too soft, foot slid around alot.  The Lux knit are about as stable as the lux pro...which is saying alot.  Totally different shoes.

I've worn the lux knit in dew and light rain...no water getting in.  However in heat they are still pretty comfy, but no where near the knit 2 - those are built for dry heat....I wear the knit 2 for range sessions in 90+ weather, rarely for rounds, especially when I'm walking.

I guess that’s why I’m curious about the lux sport, if the upper is like the lux knit or different.

Lux sport is the knit version of the Lux line.  My bad there I wasn't clear in the naming in my first post.   The all day knit is technically the knit 2.   Totally different shoes. But again, Lux Sport breathable, but waterproof.  All day Knit is the lightest shoe I've ever worn (D4 MG4 knit similar).

The Lux sole IMO is the best they make.  The others are comfy but the lux sole gives that little bit more of comfort and padding.

I know, I own both the lux knit and the knit 2.

I dislike the material on the lux knit. My question is if the lux sport is different than the lux knit. They’re both waterproof but I’m hoping the lux sport material is more comfortable.

the lux knit is the same shape as the lux pro with waterproof knit material.

ironically it looks like the lux knit was recently removed from the site, because I don’t see it anymore. Maybe bc others disliked it too. But I think you are confusing the lux knit with something else…

I just looked, I can find info on the lux knit from link soul.  My bad...ignore my posts...totally different shoes than what I'm talking about.

I'd bet lux sport and lux knit had/have similar material, but I can't be sure.  Lux sport is most definitely more "stiff" than the regular knits.  But they are so comfortable, that first wear be wary of the ankle cuff...it dug into my ankle, but never again since.

I'm in the same boat as most it seems. Not a fan of the stiffness of the Lux Knit. Love my Lux Pros and they're my go-to waterproof shoe. I actually filed a claim for one of my Lux Knit pairs because my socks were soaked after a dew filled round. They sent me a brand new pair in a different color since they didn't have my size.
