Picked up my Original 1.2's and first thing I have to say is why do the sock/compression opening? When you have a wide foot it's not easy sliding into a snug opening.

Feel is different, I have a flat foot and used to some more stability. Use the FJ Tour X as my main shoe.

I'll obviously have to get them out on the course if possible if not the range and see what I think.

Probably one of the few issues with True.  Not like you can just try them on...after trying most I've found I like the Lux sole the best and will probably not go zero drop again.  Haven't found a pair that wasn't crazy comfortable, but the lux fits me just a bit better.

As for the snug opening....some pairs have that, others don't, I've found it loosens up over time but keeps the shoe really snug when walking which is a benefit.   Lux Pro are snug to get on and off as well.

Yes the opening on the lux sports are tight. That’s kinda the only negative thing I can say about them.  I do understand where the other poster’s are coming from when they mention getting them on is a challenge.  That being said, I’ve got two words.

Shoe horn.

Keep one at home and one in the trunk of the car.  Your True’s will slip on so easily.  Problem solved.

Lux Knit great for day to day walking and dry days on the course in summer but anything else they aren't the best golf shoe.  I have a few pairs and love them for work though.

I ordered the Lux Sport in green (finally an offering that has a darker sole🙏) during the VIP promo.  They are super.  Comfy out of the box/bag.  Love these.  Curious from the true ho's how the other models fit in comparison as I may be ordering something else as an every day/office/walking pair.....TIA

Once you get the lux sole it's kind of hard to get anything that isn't that sole, but the all day knits are super comfy.

I have 3 of the lux sports, 2 lux pros, 2 knits and 2 old pairs of the majors (which were awesome....you hear me True??).  Got some rip stops cheap and they weren't great. Most comfortable are the lux pros, oddly enough.

I can say, for certain now, the Lux sports are waterproof...played in a constant mist and sporadic rain today...feet dry, rest of me, not so much.  Gotta love weather forecasts that are 100% off on their predictions.

Majors are a heckuva shoe.  Almost three years with the brown pair I received for Xmas and they still have some life left after wearing them most days during that timeframe.  Scored a black pair off the

BST!  Lux Pro look great, wish they had an option with a dark sole.  Have you tried the Lux Knit?  Looks like still available on TGW.

Only ones I have not tried.  Assuming they'll bring out another model in the near future.

I really hope they bring the Majors back.  Those were expensive but amazing.  Comfy, easy to clean (yeah suede material just wipes off) waterproof, can be worn warm or cold weather and great looking.

The all white majors? I always wanted them but was afraid of that suede white toe.

I love my OG2.1 in white.

Bad news is that my feet were getting wet walking in the early morning dew with my 5 month old originals.

Good news is I emailed customer service and with some basic documentation / pictures they agreed to send me a new pair free of charge!  Can’t do better then that customer service wise.

Never had an issue with previous Originals so hoping I ended up with a lemon last pair and the new pair will in fact be waterproof.

Personally love my knit 2 but borderline hate my lux knit. The material is stiff on top and the fit/balance between upper and sole is weird.

Have them.  Love them and that suede comes freshly clean with a magic eraser.   They don't look new after two/almost 3 years, but close.  Easily 50-75+ rounds on them and mostly walking.   Now I use them as wet weather shoes to keep my newer ones clean.

Just as a heads up, magic eraser will strip the waterproofing off Trues. At least it did to my OGs.

The plus is that if you reach out to True with photos of wet shoes/socks, they will send a one-time replacement.

Did not have any issues after the replacement pair came and have not used the magic eraser again.

Interesting.  Haven't had that issue, however only use it on the suede/leather and soles.

I also use their leather wipes, perhaps that helps.

Everyone ignore my advice!  Can't trust anything on the internet!

Does anyone know the sizing fits for the Lux Pro and Lux Knit in relation to other models?

For reference, I wear a 9 in the OG 1.2s and an 8.5 in the Knit 2s.

I've only purchased the True Lux Sport.   I'm impressed.   I normally wear a 10 in tennis shoes and a 10 in my old Footjoy Softjoy golf shoes.   With the True Lux Sport, it was suggested that I order a 1/2 size up.   I love my 10 1/2 True Lux Sport.   I went with them because they are waterproof.

The new model looks good and sounds to be more cushioned than traditional Trues.

The lux pro seems to fit me at my normal size.  I think the Knits, you could go a half size smaller, just the material I think.  The lux pro are wider footbed, don't seem quite as wide as the OGs.

Consider all their shoes to be "wide" compared to other brands.

I tried them. Extremely well built, quality shoe. But, for me, they just didn’t fit as well as Ecco Bioms. I really want to support smaller brands like TL and they definitely make a good product, but so far they just have not fit my feet.

Love the biom hybrid, but not the current model. Like the biom hybrid 3.

hmm are they firmer or softer than bioms

I like the Biom 3’s, but not the 4’s (I think that is the current model).

TL FS-01 is softer than the Bioms, especially if you remove the extra width insole on the Ecco’s.

I really wish they fit because they are a great shoe.

Yes, so the biom 3 without midsole is great.  I prefer the s-three to all Ecco without insole.

I’ll have to try the new TL.  That insole looks thicc
