Any info on the Scotty Cameron Select 2020 line?

Blade weights.

350 grams at 35" - (30 gram Tungsten weights)

360 grams at 34" - (35 gram Tungsten weights)

370 grams at 33" - (40 gram Tungsten weights)

I hope this is accurate and the older weight still fit these new heads. If so lighter head weights are easily achievable.

That sounds great. Swap the 30 grams with 25 grams each to get 340. Done deal!

I just don’t get how these heads get to 290 grams before weights are installed. Does not add up. Not saying it’s not true. That’s a 40 gram reduction in weight. Just don’t know how you get from point A to B

It's not that hard to believe, putters used to routinely be in the 320-330 range. Place one of those older putters next to a newer 350-360 head. They don't look all that much different.

Ya but 320 to 290, that’s 30 grams. I guess but that’s quite a diet.

290 is after they mill out the weight ports though. I was just talking about solid heads. I think two weight ports removes something like 30-40 grams.

It was stated that a head with 2x30=60 in grams would produce a 350 gram head now. The use to be 350 with 2x10 gram weights. So 330 old to 290 new before any weights are installed.

That just doesn't make any sense for a retail OTR putter anymore though. Adding weight ports allows them to covers so many more potential customers with just one head.

Hope that's not true, coz in that case your usual after-market weights won't fit and can't be swapped in easily to get desired result. Will need to get them from Scotty directly for an arm and a leg

I just rolled all of the new models. The Flowback is an awesome addition to the line. It has a slant neck.

The Newport 2 and 2.5 definitely has a tri sole. Maybe not as “sharp” as Tiger’s, but it a tri-sole ‘lite’.

The entire line looks sharp and is a great turn back towards what made Scottys some of the best putters out there.

I've actually had quite a few aftermarket weights over the years fit just fine. Some have actually been more accurate to their engraved on weight than my authentic ones.
