Any info on the Scotty Cameron Select 2020 line?

Step in the right direction going back to milled face with no insert, but that’s about it. Sight line with no other options is still ridiculous and means no chance of purchase for me. And lol at the huge name on the face. Couldn’t help himself!

The more I look at it the more I think, unfortunately, the entire thing is ruined by the name on the face. I mean just look at the huge and wide font they chose for the face. It looks ridiculous. Normally logos don't go past the start of the topline.

I'll bet when you set up to the ball the entire heel side of the face showing is nothing but logo. It looks like it goes to within 1/4 inch of the sweet spot. I can't believe somebody didn't talk him down from that font. It looks like something you would design on the CAD and then somebody would say "Haha, that's funny. But No."

I don't get the disdain for the prior insert models. I don't feel a huge difference between the insert milled putter compared to a Betti FIT Face putter. The insert Scotty just feels a bit firmer. The new milling depth looks exactly the same as the insert models.

It’s not that much different then the California line. I for one love the Newport 2 headshape. It’s legit.

This is a good point. For example - Rife changed the sound of the Evnroll ER5 when it came out based on customer feedback. Haven’t read any comments on here saying they like the scripting on the face. Would love to see some sort of rallying cry to make this happen.

Hard to understand the gripe about the name on the face. It’s not like you can see it when putting. I can understand the hate for the name on the face. If you just happen to be sitting there staring at all day long.

I don't think anyone is complaining about the fact that the name is there....just how big it is and how far it extends across the face (and the font, for some.) The examples you show have the engraving ending much closer to the heel. It definitely isn't a deal breaker for me, just wanted to clarify what the guys are referring to.

Well saw the putters today in person at local golf shop. Will not name so don't ask. Did not get to putt with yet unfortunately though! Head doesn't look as cheap but still not as high quality as I would like though for the money. Font on face is weird still but head shape overall looks pretty good. Grip is hideous and needs to go! Worst I've seen! Headcover is ok, very bright and eye catching definitely a Scotty cover. Also saw the new square one with plumbers neck. Looked better but face font still looks out of place! Sale price will be $399 and no they are not tri sole!!!

Local big box stores have them. If you ask nicely like I did they will be more then happy to show them off. Didn't push my luck by taking photos though. Just held and checked them out

To me it has a slight tri sole, it's definitely not rounded. It's not studio style tri sole either where it's really flat in middle.
