They have to have previous gen wedge inventory...hopefully they bring them back in a few weeks with a discount after everyone has jumped on the new wedges.

If they do, I may have to buy a set. I held out because even with the discount $195 is a lot of money for a wedge that doesn’t have the pedigree others do. Anyone play the Milled and love them? Yes, I’ll search as well and read up.

So Gen 3 has been released to the wild, but I'm not seeing any review videos yet. I wonder how long it will be before we start to see reviews from Shiels, Newton, etc.

Pretty much...BUT, if that rubber truly does react in a similar capacity to what they showed, I can definitely see how it would improve performance. It certainly seems logical.

Four Twenty Five a club..... I'm trying to let that sink in. Even in this age of wildly skyrocketing OEM prices.

It may be a truly amazing iron but for 425 I'll build a full set of Maltbys for just one club cost.

I cant possibly knock the company for thier price point or fault those who can afford the iron. I have hit the Gen 2s and they did great but no better numbers for me that the TS-2s I hit alongside them.

I guess its like owning an exotic car.

PXG is polarizing, a lot of social media hate for clubs people haven't hit.

With their price tag, there will always be criticism. What I like about PXG and, Bob Parsons in particular, is he understands his clubs aren't for everyone. I love his transparency when he talks about the product from ideology to manufacturing. PXG resonates with the consumer who appreciates the complexity and workmanship of the product as much as, if not more than, they appreciate a high performing set of clubs.

Well like in the Average Golfer interview he said if the cost to build is the cost most sell at retail then he has to sell at a higher price point to make payroll and some profit. Sure Callaway and others can likely keep costs down due to volume they all are stepping up their high end like Titleist Concept and Callaway Flash irons. But they still dont compare to PXG IMHO. Always be haters but most of the haters either can't afford them or its envy that Bob is a billionaire who started a golf company. Sure there are other clubs and OEMs that can perform similarly but dont have the combination of looks and performance across the board. Again just my opinion. They prob have 2 of the best golf club engineers in the business.

Read the golfspy article and it mentioned that they do 5x forging and it costs ~$10k/mold. That’s ~$80k in molds for a full set of heads and they make 3 different lines with both RH and LH heads.

i was shocked when I saw that. At least the lefties can’t complain about lack of options with Pxg ?

went back to read the article and it’s 5 molds per each iron head so 3i would be ~$50k in molds and so on thru the set.
