according to the website it's sold separately, but that is not the issue. Now I haven't I tried the bag on in person, but I like to go from single to double or vice versa in the middle of the round. On longer walks or hills, a double is preferred, but if it is a short walk I may just use a single strap when using my old hoofer, and being balanced is important whether using one or both straps.

Ordered an MNML in white and will post some thoughts and pics when it comes in. I am a walking bag snob for balance and weight. Current bags are Mizuno K1-LO, Nike Sport lite, hoofer and a SM 3.5. Go to is the Mizuno due to balance and 2.7 pounds.

I carry mine, in the one strap position all the time. These bags are comfortable, look good, lightweight, and theres some pretty cool features! I may be biased owning 2 of them, but I've had a lot of bags, 2nd choice would be Ping Hoofer.

Just curious what makes a Vessel bag so good? I was looking at a Sun Mountain C-130 (as I don't walk that often, and I already have a walk/stand bag that is pretty light). I was also really digging the Mizuno Pro Stand bags for this year.

Not the most pockets but I like my new hoofer lite. Since it’s new I can’t speak to its durability but people aren’t to rate them highly. I walk as much as possible. Only bag 11 clubs currently and I don’t have any tangle issues so far. I got it after exchanging a Taylormade flextec lite. I couldn’t get the flextec self-adjusting straps to allow the bag to sit comfortably on my back but otherwise really liked it. The hoofer sits perfectly on me while carrying. I prefer a stand bag that doesn’t have an exposed foot type piece to actuate the stand for when I do ride.

I love my 2016 hoofer-the only knock is the lack of full length pocket for rain gear, etc. 2020 model has it, so if I were in the market, that would be my choice.

The 2016 apparel pocket does technically run full length, you just have to reach up and push the rain gear (or whatever) behind the smaller front/upper pockets

This is true. I’ll m assuming the new design makes it easier though-kinda tight to cram stuff in the 2016 model. This is a nit pick though, I really do love the bag and hope it lasts a long time.

I am sort of in the market for a bag similar to the OP. I currently have a Hoofer that is about 20 years old and it is still completely functional so I really don't need a bag, just want right now. I am looking at a Cobra Ultralight Golf bag, I have heard good things about it, anyone have experience with this bag?

Looking to get a new stand bag as well. I'm going on a couple trips where a stand bag will be a better option.

Do the clubs tangle in all stand bags or is it mostly just Ping ? I had a hoofer about 5-7 years ago and they tangled pretty bad in that one but have used a cart bag ever since.

Is a 4 way better than a 14 way divider if I have mid size grips ?

I love the hoofer for quality and durability. I bought a 2019 model at the end of the year. The smaller pockets have been a drawback to me, so I pulled out a Titleist staydry standbag that is a couple of years old. I am amazed at how the Titleist bag has no club tangle. The Titleist will not hold up as well, but they have no club tangle on the 5 way tops.

I’m enjoying the new 202 Ping Hoofer Lite. The new model has a pass through for cart straps, so it sits nicely when I decide to ride. It also rides well on my SM speed push cart and is easy to hike out to the range and walk with... Perfect

I saw a new Callaway 2020 Fairway 5 Way Stand bag that looks to improve on the previous Fusion 14 way bag -- a big fan of the Fusion bag MINUS the 14 way top so this should be the best of both worlds.
