On the hunt for a point and shoot Hybrid

Is there such a thing? Currently gaming a Cobra F7 19* which has been ok, just looking to try something else. I've looked into Titleist 818H1/H2, cally Apex 19 among some others..if money weren't an option I'd be all over a G410 or TS2/3 but they're definitely still pricey. I know it's subjective but what do people recommend I check out under $200 or so?

818 line from Titleist for sure. Best bang for your buck right now imo . 818H1 head for a bigger profile and for the sweepers and 818H2 for the more iron like profile. Funny though because I’m a sweeper and fit into the 818H2...

My Callaway Rogue X hybrids are the best I've ever owned. A little bigger than the regular Rogues and other hybrids but they are so easy to hit. Not hook bias like a lot of hybrids either. No idea how the newer Mavrik line compares.

An older Callaway Apex or Titleist off Ebay should work great . You can sometimes get 2-3 yr old models still almost brand new or new

Personally, shaft plays a big role in how much I like a hybrid... Just find an older one with a shaft you like and go from there.

My similar search led me to believe that I was looking for a unicorn. I gave up after too many to mention. Every one was a hook machine with the occasional good, straight shot. I went with a 5 wood and Gapr Mid 21 degree to fill in my hybrid gaps. Funny thing is that the Gapr seems to want to go right - I have only had it in the bag a few months but will continue with it for a bit. Good luck in your search!

A great way to get good shafts at a far better price than current lines. The right shaft for your swing will make things far more 'point and shoot' than a head will if you can square it up properly. If not, then lessons or a 'more forgiving' 5wd option might be better.

In my opinion, the old Adams Idea Pro Blacks are the most “point and shoot” hybrids ever made. Just my humble opinion. They can be had on ebay for like 30 bucks. Shaft of course, will play a role. But these are the one hybrid that never wanted to hook on me.

That thing is as "point and shoot" as it gets. Stupid easy to hit. In fact, if you can't hit that thing I'd give up the game.

What about your Cobra F7 don’t you like? What improvement are you looking for? Maybe just a shaft change in the Cobra would do the trick? Maybe not? Or do you just want a new toy? That’s cool too.

Any of the recent Ping hybrids will do just fine. I'm still using the G25 model and they are amazingly easy to hit and straight too. Ping just builds good clubs that are easy to hit.

If you want something that isn’t hook biased I would go with Ping G series. The 400 is pretty neutral and the 410 you can flatten the lie.

My Ping G hybrids are still in the bag, 3H and 4H. They go straight and high and have always been some of my more trusted clubs in the bag. They replaced my Titleist 816's which were good, but more iron like. The G sits flatter and was easier for me to sweep off tight lies like a wood. The 3H is extremely versatile, can elevate it but usually use it for a reliable punchy 210-220 yard low cut.
