Another vote for F9 or maybe even F7 if you can find a nice used one for cheap. I had the F7 in the bag for a long time and now I have an F9 and can't say I notice a ton of difference. Both are great!

2016 M2 16.5 will be plenty. Not sure what they did with that one but it's crazy long and plenty new and mint ones on Ebay.

Ping G25 was easiest to hit three wood off the deck. You could also find a G30. They were really good.

I currently have the G400 3 wood and really like it.

Always played Callaway fairways and still have 2 original Steelheads in the bag to go along with my Mavrik driver but at loving a Cobra F9 14.5 turned up to 15.5 with a Project X HZRDUS Red 75.

Shaft is very surprising as the softer tip but still firm middle is a great match for a fairway wood.

Still the honeymoon and I imagine that I’ll have some Mavrik sooner or later to try but for now it has been a pleasant surprise off the tee and off the deck.

TS3 is the easiest 3 wood I've ever hit off the deck. Will admit I haven't tested too many 3 woods but that's because once I started using this I didn't need to try anything else. Not a fan of TM off the deck but Ping are also very easy to hit.

My vote is for an older head from Adams. There are many great ones in the Fast series or even further back in the Insight series. I have owned my share of them and they perform very well from the deck. The Fast 10 is back in the bag for this year.

The three 3W's that I think are top shelf are the TM tour (weight forward), the Rouge standard and my personal gamer the TS2 set open to 15.75*. It's an easy 250y off the tee and about 235y from the deck. Point and shoot machine. The biggest plus of the Titleist product is that you can adjust loft and lie independently. That's helped me virtually eliminate the big left miss and have confidence to go for the par 5's in two from the back tees. Previously I'd hit whatever got me to 50y out and pitch in so I avoided the bunkers and trouble at the front of most greens. Once you find your perfect 3W stick with it!

Y'all talked me into it. Bought a used F9 with atoms blue shaft. Wanted the white one but couldn't find the right one so ended up with yellow. 14.5°. Pretty stoked. Thanks for the suggestions. Suppose to be in great shape from global golf. Here is to hoping.

Not sure. It's whatever is a stick option from cobra. I'm taking a gamble as I love the Hzrdus smoke in my epic flash SZ and i could have had the same head with that shaft for same price.

I am experimenting with a 917f2 4w turned down, right now, and it has been good... BUT... The G400 has been the best FW wood for all around play I have ever used. SO easy off the deck and long from the tee. It doesnt sound great but it hugs the ground nicely and gets the job done from just about anywhere. Fantastic 3w.. the 410 sounds a little better, but will be more money.

The F9 has arrived. Hope to hit it today. Was hoping Global Golf left the cobra connect on the club but apparently they pull it off? Odd.

I really gotta find the swing as i haven't hit a wood in awhile. Had to hit the F9 off a mat as there was to much rain on the range. Felt good. Like the face depth of the wood. I took the weight out on the back and hit some dead straight bullets but wondered if that's ok? Was a little more erratic with it in. I hit 4 off the grass in front of the mat just to feel the turf interaction and man, it felt sweet off the deck. Maybe i got lucky on those 4 swings but they were dead straight. Off the mat i had some fades and some straight. Need more time but happy to have a 3 wood that isn't a hook monster for me. No clue what i was flying it. Moved it down to 13* just to see and got it off the mat pretty good height wise but no clue if that got me any more distance or not.

thanks for the recommendation.
