Haha video was... eh entertaining... was impressed by the sound until i seen the above comment...

Looks like the G425 Max dropped spin vs the G400 Max by about 600-700 rpms.  Very interested!  Loved how straight the G400 Max was but spun it too much.  A lower spin version might be the best driver ever made.  G425 Max is on the radar for sure.

Ping has added a hotmelt port on the G410 and from the video looks like it has continued with the G425.  Any sound issues can easily be taken care of.

That guy did get a nice gain from G400 to G425. Although the MOI may have suffered.

I apologize.  I actually had updated my previous post after I caught that but you grabbed it first.  You sir move quickly haha.

 

I cant wait to see what the MOI on the Max is.   Also, just for reference to viewers, he used an AD DI in both clubs.

That video reminded me of a late 90's golf infomercial.

 

Excited to see this when it launches...even if I did just pick up a 410 LST like 3 weeks ago. I'm also curious to see what they do with the fairways in this lineup. A 17-18* LST option would be awesome.

In the other thread it says LST in 14.5* only. I am with you 100% wishing they had it in a slightly higher loft.

Looks good. How much is that weight in the back? It doesn't look like it moves very much... It must need to be very heavy or else I don't think it will really do all that much. Hopefully it's also a little more quiet or at least that nice solid THWACK instead of a more metallic noise. At least that's my preference.

Look at the FW, Hyrbrid, crossover.....etc....

Even if the sound is edited in, you can hear the G400 Max at 6:15 vs the 425 at around 6:30. I play the G400 Max, and that’s exactly what it sounds like, so I’m sure the 425 sound in the video is accurate. 
 

When you hear the 425 right after the 400, it sounds like a carbon crown driver.

Yeah those appear to be the new G425? If you go to this link, https://clubping.jp/product/product2020_g425_d.html, and then go to the irons they have the G425's on there. I think they look real nice.

From the Japan site, it says the G425 drivers have "Sound Ribs" to support better sound/feel....NICE!

The Ping hybrids have been my favorites going all the way back to the G25. REALLY glad to see the turbulators gone! Fairways look much better too. Thanks Ping!
