Well, it’s a moveable weight. It’s a bit of a new way for titleist and it is unique in the method. But the big story with this driver is the face..

Yea i understand that, i guess I was expecting a bit more. Whats the story with the face?

I was very intrigued with the tsi3, and i will still hit it, but from what i have seen, its no better than the SIM im currently in. It still looks like a great driver though. The early buzz was about the weight track in the back if the tsi3, that it was “something out of a james bond movie”... now its out havent heard anything about it... just hype?

One person posted that in this thread. Not sure I would call that hype.

Sounds great, but does that translate anything to the ball? I will say ct testing across the face on every head is a big positive, i would expect all manufacturers to follow this trend in the near future if not doing so already.

Inquiring minds want to know the actual upcharge for the AD DI, which is my wood shaft of choice!

"Both drivers are priced at $550 with featured shafts (see above options); the premium featured shafts are an additional $200, totaling $750."

From the GolfWrx front page article.

Sound , feel and a few mph of ball speed over the TS lineup, from all the testers so far. Plenty of reviews with numbers out this morning. CT of every head sounds crazy but saw that too.

This Titanium as I understand it is able to pass the CT test. but still be above the COR of .83 therefore being legal and faster.. Pretty awesome.

Steep price for performance here. Perhaps they'll knock $50 off when they sit on the racks.

It will be the same and the epic speed and the SIM2. It is the same and the SIM right now... Expensive, yes but not more so than others.

That is a good idea to use a “loophole”, i guess we will see how much they were able to do it and if it will translate to anything tangible

Vs the ts  lineup... ok maybe, but again i have watched just about every review and im not seeing the same thing. Shiels had poor results, crossfields were ok, txg was typical txg, and finch’s, the sim beat it. Im not saying it isnt a good driver or isnt for me. I like it, im just saying pump the breaks on the tech talk... every year lol

To the above comments, I placed an order for a TSi3 with Tour AD IZ shaft. It was a $200 up charge for the IZ shaft, and I picked up ball speed (with the same swing speed and both heads being 1.49-1.50 smash) over my SIM Max with the same shaft.  So, yes, there are ball speed increases and a $200 up charge for Tour AD shafts.

If smash was same,  but tsi had faster ball speeds, that means you were swinging the tsi faster?
