It’s a good bit bigger grip.  More paddle than the ping man. Which is small like the studio Cameron grip ( probably same grip different logo as both made by golf pride )

You're talking about the Deep Etched Paddle grip that's much more common. Tiger is using the pistol version of the Deep Etched Cord Pistol and it is nearly identical in shape to the Ping Man.

 

Pingman on top... Lamkin Deep Etched Pistol (non-cord) on bottom...  Again, not the Paddle version that is easy to find and easy to confuse.

Golf Pride just released a new series of cord putter grips, available in three different profiles.  One of which should be very close to the paddle version, one close to the pistol version, and one that sounds like it's somewhere in between (though perhaps more triangular?).  I'd be happy to share pictures with you all if I could so we could compare and contrast, but the GP site currently has all three product links (the blue, red, and green versions) pointing to the same product (the blue version), lol.

I took some pictures comparing the shape of the pistol and paddle versions... Paddle in the middle.

Thanks. That is a big difference.  I’ve seen some of the cords for sale and I’ll have to go back and look to see if they indicate regular or paddle.

Thanks for that too. I’m ordering one of those. Paying $100 for a Cameron cord has become the norm and I just  can’t do it.

Same.  Wish I had bought more of those GP Pro Score Cords when they stopped making them.  Perfect profile for my hands/feel and nearly (or completely?) identical to the early Titleist (pre-Cameron branding, lol) cords someone posted a picture of earlier.  Back then the Titleist version was $20 and I thought that was crazy cakes when the same GP branded one could be had for $8.99.

 

Anyway, I liked the slightly more squared off sides of them compared to the Lamkins.  Had them on every putter I used from like 1995-2015.  Still have a few of those around which are too dear to part with.

I loved that grip. I had a Ping branded one way back. Asked at the factory here in Phoenix if they had any old stock stashed away and was told no. At least now I know what to look for on the end cap.

The current Lamkin offering is the paddle version (the grey one). They don't sell the older pistol version that Tiger is using anymore.

Just as an FYI, if anyone wants to go hunting for them, they also made them with their newer, blocky letter logo. Obviously the tells are the location of the logo and “etched” instead of “deep etched.”

That’s interesting. I’ve never seen this model with the newer script. Where did you find this at?

Can’t recall exactly and took a quick search through email and couldn’t find a receipt for them, but it wasn’t all that long ago. Maybe six months to a year back? I want to say it was one of the smaller clubmaker supply guys, like Billy Bob’s or Hurricane Golf maybe?
