Well went and did a fit today and hit my Sim 8* with Diamana D+ LTD 70-S, Srixon ZX5 and ZX7 @ 8.5* with Tensei Pro White 60-S, Radspeed @ 8* and XB @ 8* with Motore F1 6-S. 
 

I actually spun the ball LESS with the XB than the std head, numbers below, I’m a 100 SS (thought I was faster :)) 

 

 

Averages 

Ball speed: 144.9
Launch: 16.4
Spin: 2140
Carry: 255.4
Total: 282.4

 

Had one total yards of 300 I about sh** my pants. Never had one go that far before

So I have a dilemma if anyone can assist. 

 

Coming from a TSI3 with a Tensei Pro White 60S the XB with Motore F1 6-S feels a little light to me ( I don't know the exact SW of each). If and this is a big if, I purchased a heavier back weight for the XB head what would that do to the  flight/characteristics/forgiveness of the head. 

 

I remember seeing people in the SiM thread stating that they put a heavier weight in the back of the Sim driver and it created more forgiveness while not sacrificing too little spin

 

Any help would be appreciated!

I have mine at 45.25" with a 12 gram weight in the back. Head is about 200 grams. I would weigh the Tsi3 and XB head on a scale to see the difference between the two. 

 

Increasing the weight at the back of the head will slightly increase MOI (more forgiving), slightly increase dynamic loft at impact (higher launch/spin), and slightly increase the rate of closure (draw bias).

Headweight is 400??? Jesus that’s a sledgehammer.  Think my M3 is 198

@cw1209 Did you mean head weight = ~205-210grams? (instead of 400 grams= head only ?)

 

i've heard of callaway driver heads = typically around 195-200grams... and Ping driver head at 200-205 grams... but never a driver head at 400 grams! (a heavy putter head at 400 grams = maybe?)

 

No offence intended (am a fan of heavier driver heads... hence my affection for the "mini driver")... so these are genuine questions from a "young grasshopper"!🦗(😬🚫🤬)

@JungleJimbo 🤣 Man. My bad. And good catch by both of you. Doubled the head weight for no reason at all. Wasn't trying to mislead or flex on WRX.

 

I meant 200 grams. Corrected in the original post.

I still put my Radspeed XB in play from time to time--Think i will this weekend (Has a Hzrdus Yellow in it)....It's a nice combo!
