Reviving this thread since I'm now a total convert to the XB as my new driver. Borrowed one on a whim from my pro shop and love it. Other than the head being overly light, adding more weight to the rear has made it even better - almost hard to not hit it straight. Also completely enamored with the Smoke RDX Blue shafts, so much so that I ordered the matching 3-wood without even hitting it. They are that good.

Has anyone weighted the Radspeed and/or the Radspeed XB heads?

I play an overlength Driver (close to 48") and with the Radspeed head my driver felt significantly lighter (my gamer head is a Mizuno ST 200).

For those that have hit the fairways and driver are the sound/feel the same?  I have the radspeed 3 wood and it’s amazing. Perfect for me in sound and feel. Considering ordering the xb but the 3 wood doesn’t have the Infiniti face, so wondering if the driver feels different.

Imho the normal 3w and 5w have the infinity face. Just the big tour 3w and the tour 5w don't have it (I have a demo tour 5w at home).

The demo XB head I am using is light: 193g. It has 6g of lead tape on it right now, but the one I ordered will have a 12g weight in it, bringing the head up to 199. I also tried a regular RADSpeed head and recall it being light as well, at least this is the case for the ones in the cart at my pro shop. There are a few posts in this thread where guys have weighed their heads and posted the info.

I guess you’re correct in that the 3 wood says “Infiniti face” on it. But the fairway has grooves across the entire face where as the driver is almost completely grooveless on the face.

I have had my Radspeed since March and have played with the 12g in the front and back positions and see some significant differences.  I ordered the 6 and 8 gram weights.  was considering putting the 6 in front and 8 in back to still have the 14g of weight between the two ports, but a bit in between the 12 and 2.   Has anyone given this a shot yet?

Adding to my previous post on head weight. Including the shaft that came with my XB, Motore X1, I had 6 shafts to test (lol). The Motore for me is awful, maybe too long. Hzrdus 6.0, Atmos (my F9 stock) and Aldila Rogue both stiff in rank order. Decent all.

However, Ozik Black Tie Matrix M4 65R appears to be THE magic combo. Very forgiving, plenty long and straight. Feel is terrific. Consistently minor draw in two range sessions. When I push it, a typical miss for me, I can see it trying to correct so the push isn't too penal. I'm now strongly considering going to the fitter who I bought my Mizuno MP20s from a couple years ago to dial in on shaft with Ozik as the baseline.

I would have told you a month ago F9 is the best driver I have ever played...it still is but the Radspeed XB appears just as long with better forgiveness and consist results for me. Feel and looks still go to F9 but XB feel is still very good. Looking forward to dialing in the XB!

Had my XB with RDX Blue since January and LOVE it still. Made some swing changes and it still worked well. Hits bombs. Many drives over 310 for the first time in my life consistently hitting a few 290-310 yard drives per round. Probably gained 15 yards but gained even more this summer. Basically zero rain all summer here so fairways are rock hard and with the XB being lower spin getting nice rollout

now too.

sounds nice too

Have a XB head being shipped to me as we speak. For someone who likes a whiteboard profile but was launching the ball too high with a pro White 60-S in a 9* Tsi3 head. What would be the suggestion for the XB head at 9*. I’m a 100-105 SS guy.

was thinking Ventus Blue or Black. After reading the reviews of the XB seems it’s a low spin head

The XB was a seriously underrated driver this past year. Long and forgiving. Cobra really struck a good balance of forgiveness without spinning up too much. I'm looking forward to hitting whatever their new version of it is. I had the 10.5* for most of this season, but after some lessons and swing changes I was hitting it too high. A 9* XB would be nice to pick up used for cheap.

Ventus Blue 6S was excellent in the XB for me (same swing speed, 102-103ish). But I like a blueboard profile so take that FWIW. RDX Blue was actually fairly similar, about the same launch and spin, plus it's a stock option, but that's a more extreme soft-mid sort of deal so if you're a whiteboard guy it's probably a no-go. I'd be tempted to throw one of those All-Fit adapters on the Pro White and get the Titleist and Cobra connectors.

Ya thinking Ventus Blue 6S might be the way to go, if it spins too high I’ll just lower the loft. I just worry if I go Ventus Black I’m going to hit knuckle balls lol.

The XB is a lower-spin head -- lower than the TSi3 when I tested it, which was weird since the XB is supposed to be a forgiving model vs. the TSi3 being a more forward-CG model, but whatever. But it's still not like, SUPER low spin. I'd try the Blue first but the Black might work. Good news is with a Ventus, if it doesn't work, easy to throw up on the BST and move it quickly for a decent price.

Can the lie angle be adjusted on the Cobra heads? I dont see an option for that on the site. I'm used to playing 58.5* of lie and the Cobra is 1* flatter

The sleeve allows an "upright" setting for the loft ranges

Ventus is not a bad option, but neither Black or Blue will feel or perform like a whiteboard. I get the mythical draw to Ventus though. Have to try it once (I did). At the same time, I think the Fujikura Motore X F1 would be more comparable in feel and performance to a whiteboard profile which was a stock option for Rad drivers. A little stiffer in the mid and softer in the tip than Ventus Blue. The sneaky option may be to wait until the new LTDx drivers roll out and someone sells the Tensei AV Raw White that will be stock for that line. May be the best fit.

Wouldnt worry too much about a 1* difference in lie angle. For what it's worth, each hosel position away from standard loft and lie is a .5* increase in lie angle. (For the 9* head at 57.5* lie angle at standard loft: -1/+1 = 58*, -1.5/+1.5 = 58.5, -1D/+1D = 59*, std D = 59.5*)

Love the Rad XB. Seriously underrated.

Appreciate the insight and all the info on lie angle that’s what I was looking for! I tend to be a high ball hitter and this always gravitate towards the low/low whiteboard shafts. However I don’t want to hit knuckle balls so wanted to give the Ventus a try as I’ve heard the XB is low spin and lower spin than the TSi3 I had played previously.
