As a C- level sneaker guy, love seeing the history of Jordan shoes from time to time. Searched the internet and it doesn't exist for TW! This is the closest

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (plus I'm a senior) but to my eye some of those shoes are a bit ugly.

I would agree, the TW golf shoes should be coveted to golfers like retro Jordans. Different market, I get it, but anyone in their 30s grew up idolizing Tiger. If the footwear line head up better over time, they could do retros that would sell out in a day.

Love the 13 and the 14 those are tied at the top for me.

 

I actually have 2 pairs of the TW71 and love the look...The thing is the first run of the fast track system is garbage.

 

My Tour Premiere fast track works like 100 times better.

Air zoom 2009 is still my favorite. Followed closely by the 13s. I still break them both out occasionally.

None really grabbed me....but Air Zoom TW 2010 looks the fastest.

I had these TW 14s. I finally had to retire them last season due to the traction being wore down. I would buy another good condition pair in my size. Hard to locate a pair. Great shoe!!!

13s are the GOAT golf shoe. Not even close. The upper looked brand new for years because nothing could stick to it. My soles literally fell apart before the shoes looked bad.

 

I wish I could go back in time and buy ten pairs.

I'm probably in the minority but I wish Nike would release an updated version of these, where it all began.

 

Also, I believe the pair he wore to win the 99 PGA had the OG tiger ying-yang logo where the swoosh is, and an updated sole with red accents. Grail status. May actually have been a SUPER limited release back then. Saw it on twitter a while ago.

The original SP8 in white with the embossed swoosh is still the goat. '09 in white was too cool in the flesh and unlike any golf shoe ever(until the '10). The '13 obviously changed golf footwear and should absolutely be retro'd. Between the '71 and '17 I loved the '71 and am glad it's effectively being rereleased as the TW '20. The straps on the '17 were polarizing but still super cool especially for a golf shoe. Think, that shoe became the '71 and the Tour Premiere. Two of the best golf shoes ever IMO.

TW signature shoe history is something that will likely never happen again? The way Speith is playing... He may not make it to a signature shoe  next year.

These sorta have a square toe. Retros should be authentic, but I'd like to see this concept on like a React Vapor or Roshe outside and toe shape

 

Been looking at the TW20s in the catalog daily. Stopped wearing TWs at the 13s. Can't decide if I am going back this year or sticking with one of the other offerings

Just did a google image search and it's hard to tell? I thought the master's style shoes had a zipper version too? I trusted the source for the earlier models, but maybe a model was left out?

That would be amazing. Either of those soles would fit the shoe very well.

TW13 was my first TW shoe. Every other TW before that was ugly. Horrendous. The TW13 looked okay finally, but there was SO MUCH HYPE about how great they are. How comfortable they are etc. etc. It was nauseating. Enough so that I decided to try the TW13 just to see for myself how “great” those shoes were, debunk it, sell them and move on. 
 

Turned out, all the hype was real. Most comfortable shoes I’d ever worn on a golf course. Best traction of any shoe including nails. I bought 4 pairs. 2 white, 2 black. They never released the Masters version in a 14, or 13 I believe, or I would have bought that also. The TW13 Masters is my Goat and my white whale. 
 

The TW14 were great also. I got the Nike ID and the Masters TW14, which he skipped. 
 

By the time the 15 came out, they had pretty much killed the water proofing with so much mesh I wasn’t interested. TW17 with the flaps were ridiculously clownish. And the TW71 with the fast fit didn’t tighten tight enough or in the right spots and were incredibly narrow. 
 

The rise of Jordan golf shoes has driven me away from TW’s, most likely, for good. But I would certainly purchase retro TW13’s and TW14’s if they ever want to turn back the clock and make a ton of money.

I'm kinda confused why they've moved on from making the TW shoe their marquee. The TW 'fast-fit' seemed to be a lower quality shoe that they slapped the TW logo on after the Masters win in 2019. The TW20 doesn't appear to have much in the way of innovation either.

Maybe it's Nike marketing mythology or some nonsense I read on a golf forum...

 

But I think when Tiger started playing poorly after the 2013 season, he wanted to back to a more traditional stiffer feeling shoe. He went back to a zoom air shoe like the SP years. I think Nike started focusing on the youth with the sneaker like shoes and a more traditional Tiger shoe was not as exciting.

Back before we married and my then GF and now wife went all out on gifts, she got me the TW13 masters. I have them. I wore them a ton the first season and wear them every now and again now. The flex and feel is unbelievable in those shoes. It's a shame the free style didn't live on.

 

With that said, the React Vapor 2s blow those out of the water in Comfort. The React foam is a superior cushioning system and they are just a tad bid stiffer, in a good way for the tee box. However, they are still more flexible that just about every shoe out there.

 

I have 2 pairs of Reacts V2s and they are each 2 seasons old and have some good wear on them. Scored some Roshe tours on closeout for $60 each. I think they are the best looking Nike golf shoe since the TW13 and 14s. can't decide if I am going with style (Roshe) or comfort (keep the React V2s or find some on close out)

Not an over the top square, but a subtle one. Very similar to the Cole Haan shoes from the same period with the Nike Air in the heel
