What is the EXACT model???  If you cannot tell by the pics, it is red in color.  Cannot find it for sale or advertised anywhere with the plumbers neck AND white face.

2- Not a plumbers neck

3- Not an Odyssey

I think the new Odyssey White Hot OG 7s is reasonably close. If you want to get even closer, you need to hope one pops up on eBay or have a White Hot OG modified by a guy like Bastain Milled.

Thanks...I figured that it was made just for him.  How high up on the food chain do you have to be to swing that?  It can't be cheap.  And why would a company want to do that, only to then disappoint the masses who may want to buy that exact model?  It sure is an attractive putter...and I normally do not give mallets a second thought.

I wish Callaway/Odyssey would make the plumbers neck in the 7 available to the public.  I believe Dylan Frittelli has a plumbers neck on his Triple Track Ten which also looks great to my eye.  Growing up with Anser putters, I just prefer the plumbers neck to the short slant hosel.

Because that insert is everyone’s favorite. The techy ones stink mostly.    They went away from it because everyone griped and said “ no need to buy a new odyssey it’s the same as the old one “.   
 

how high on the food chain ?   Well. Youd have to at least know someone who’s at the pro level and who goes to get fitted in Carlsbad.  The mini tour guys can get these.  But not sent to them on the Normal PUD discount purchase program.  ( personal use discount I think it means ).

So these different "tour issued only" designs have already been manufactured and ready for testing by the pros at the fittings?  If not, you will need to be VERY high up the food chain to have special engineering/tooling/molding at the ready for you.

I don't know why Odyssey doesn't just release a limited edition version of this, throw a nice unique headcover on it, and charge like $350; could be similar to the Scotty "Inspired by _________"

Close as you can find is either the toulon 7 plumbers or an EXO 7 plumbers.

 

Neither are red, neither have the white insert but both are still soft.

You can also go the Toulon Portland route.

Buy a new White Hot OG #7, get a plumbers neck welded on, get a line milled into the top line and get it refinished in red. You'll have the exact same putter as Xander and probably cost similar or less if an actual tour putter pops up for sale.

It’s funny this is a thread because I reached out to Callaway/Odyssey last week and asked if there was any way to get this exact putter custom built for me in left handed and they basically went to all the trouble of replying with a cookie cutter email saying they couldn’t accommodate my request. 
 

Hopefully, everyone will take a page out of PXG’s book and offer every hosel on every head for both right and left handed players.

Sold for $870. I would laugh in anyone's face if I knew they paid that much for any single golf club. 

 

I love golf. But the expense of it is sometimes why I also hate it.

They’d screw it up by putting some other insert in it other than the OG White Hot insert that every wants.
