Finally finished foundation after a little bit of a right shoulder injury to slow me down.

I tried one swing with no weights on and I hit 151 (not sure how the long drivers get there with a driver).

Great progress!

From experience, I would not trust the Swing Speed Radar. It shows some weird misreads.

My average and max changed when I shifted to the PGRG radar. Far more consistent and superior radar.

It’s adjusted for in the app, Sasho confirmed this. Otherwise my max ESpeed would be around 133 mph.

Didn’t have the best progress check with the driver, averaged 124 but did touch 129 on one swing. Still an 8 mph increase on average.

Inconsistent sequencing is what I need to improve upon. When I get it, I get it real good.

Just ordered the Stack and can’t wait to get after it before Spring hits.  Hovering around 116-117 right now. Hope to regularly go over 120 after some work.

You got it! I started right around the same

Switched out trap bar deadlifts back to barbell deadlifts and changed full back squats to 1/4 squats to load heavier and mix it up a bit and reduce wear and tear. Had a long weekend with more drinks than normal and headed out of town for work tomorrow. Grinded out a session today in the garage and out of the blue hit multiple PR’s at different weights! Almost to that 130 e-speed goal.

Welp, a bit of an underwhelming progress check (it was also 34ºF - so not sure if that factored in).

As others have mentioned, I found it unbelievably hard to limit myself to "Full Swing" efforts when the entire rest of the time I was sending Max effort swings. I also would hazard a guess that I was actually swinging "Max" for my original baseline, as the entirety of the rest of the program showed me steadily increasing in E-Speed. I wish the baseline and progress check both had you swing at Max effort.

I got recommended Neural Drive for my next program, so not sure if that's based solely on my womp womp progress check, or the rest of my program. I guess I'll give that a shot and reset - I've read mixed reports on that one vs Full Speed Spectrum.

I got Full Speed Spectrum which should take me to the golf season. I fear I am close to maxing out based on my strength levels. I haven’t lifted weights since my daughter was born, all I do for exercise is ball/ice hockey 5 to 7 times a week.

I’ve done 11 programs since Foundation and never been recommended anything but Full Speed Spectrum. A couple times I mixed it up and went with other programs. Heavy Hitter was good but tough in season. I didn’t like Neural Overdrive at all and ended up losing some speed. Just finished another Heavy Hitter(out of season) and while I was only able to match my previous best with 195g this is by far the most consistent I’ve been through an entire program. Progress check in a couple days and probably back to Full Speed Spectrum.

This is so absurdly impressive. Not sure a lot of folks realize how much force you have to be bringing to push 120mph with the 195 stick. Nice work.

Was the fastest I ever was doing all the "ugly" ego lifts. Quarter/Half Squats, super heavy rack pulls, and a lot of trying to max out heavy singles/doubles but this all but confirms taxing the CNS eventually is the way to go in a weight program that focuses on maximizing rate of force production and absorption.

What’s your driver length input in order to get +11 from stack speed to eSpeed?

I found this out, it depends on which radar you choose as well. I only get a 5 mph boost for my ESpeed.

Definitely been adding more jumps and sprints. Not doing long cardio sessions as that would probably just tax myself more. I have over did it before, just trying to find the right mix of ways to still get a stimulus and not destroy myself. Heavy explosive 1/4 squats off spotter arms or pins has seemed to help. Adding bands onto a 70-80% 1RM max speed lift has seemed to help reduce injuries and able to keep speed/power while getting higher reps at higher weights. Personally I seem to be lacking a bit in comparative strength in hamstrings, lower back, and grip strength, so adding in some extra work there as those are the weakest links. Figure those would be the easiest gains and have the most impact vs focusing on trying to put 5 lbs on a deadlift total.

Kind of just turned into a fun experiment as once I broke 180 ball speed, I thought swinging 130 mph and 190 ball speed would be a fun goal (has proven to be much harder than anticipated). However, if I could just cruise it on the course in that 118-120 mph range with control, I would be pumped.

Anyone have any experience using the Mevo (not Mevo+) with stack system? Would hate to have to go upgrade to the mevo+ just for this.

I think only the Mevo+ does it.

ROFL I strained my back just reading this...

I am just about finished with the Heavy Hitter and I'm not sure I loved it. Most (all?) of thes sessions were just 4 different weights and they did not really seem to be mixed up all that much. Dont think I would do it again.

Overall its still January and I'm really glad that I did it again this winter. I can probably get one more system completed before I'm really out playing full time again. But its so much better than doing nothing in the offseason and getting zero swings in, that to me is worth the price.

Do you think the heavy hitter program worked for you? I’m about to start my first heavy hitter program today. I don’t lift weight so I struggle with the heavier weighted stack swings. Not sure how this is going to work out for me….

How are you guys getting the eSpeed higher? My plateaud in about the 3rd or 4th session and I’m through the middle of the 3rd phase in FSS, and I’m stuck at 103-104, even though my driver has increased 5mph.

What do you mean? Like different techniques?
