Thanks for creating the thread, @8602081. I was just about to do it.

Looks like a really great field. I'm going with Danielle this week. She had a strong finish last year. Of course Jin Young and Sei Young should be in the mix. Heck, half the field could be in the mix. Lol.

Weather forecast looks great with temps in the high 80s. Only two hours of coverage a day for the first two rounds??? Pfffftttttt.

BTW, anybody else find the 'Drive On' pop-up ads on the LPGA website really annoying? 'Don't mind banner ads at the top, but I thought pop-up ads went the way of the dodo bird?

Man Arg, I thought for sure you would have came out swinging with Lydia.

I thought everyone forgot about LPGA tournaments..   Season is starting.. I really hope that everyone is safe, so that we can see all competitions..

Yani Tseng is making a comeback..  Glad to see her back, she used to be so dominant..

Define good?  Similar to Kang, Minjee, and Brooke?  I don't put too much stock in last years stats/results (for comparison purpose).  But Lydia's scoring average, which includes the good and the bad, would get her in the running a lot / similar to this class of players.

The swing does look good.  I go back and forth on where I think she can (potentially) get back to.

I don't see any reason she can't average 69.5, similar to her scoring average in 2015. Hit some fairways with moderate length, and take advantage of her excellent short game and putter. She's probably in the best physical condition of her young career. The courses haven't changed much over the past half decade, so there's really no reason she can't return to her peak form.

Like Jordan, she simply needs to keep the technical aspects of her swing out of her head, and swing freely.

No, never easy, or a sure thing. Lydia, like Jordon, is trending in the right direction. Both have excellent short games. When their drivers are cooperating they can contend.

Yani has fallen so far that there's no telling where her game might go.

Hopefully no busted pipes!  😛  (take it for however you wanna read it)

No.   We left San Antonio to stay with kids in Houston, because surely apartment complexes would have a better chance of keeping the utilities on than a private residence.

Yeah, right.

Our house didn't lose power nor water.  No busted pipes either.

But apartment?  48 hrs without power, 72 hrs w/o water, plus a boil water notice when water came back on.

Apartment got to temps in the 40's F during the storm.  Brrr.

Looking at the pairings, the group of Mel Reid, SHP and Yani Tseng they could be a combined 20 over or 20 under after the first round and there's no way to predict which one it will be lol.

There also would seem to be some belief in Lydia from the LPGA, she's getting top billing in a TV group with Nelly and Brooke.  Not that Lydia wasn't still getting good slots but the last couple years she really had to earn that TV time, usually with her play getting there on weekends,

@Lobby, @MagicClassic407 and I believe in Lydia Ko enough to pick her for our contest.

One of the biggest questions is whether Jin Young Ko or Sei Young Kim can play at their near-69.00 or sub-69.00 level.  I've my doubt, and I'm betting Nelly/Brooke/Lydia combo will beat out Jin Young/Sei Young/Inbee this year.

It's back on! I am so glad.

Why is Annika playing? Is she planning to get back to No.1 ranking?

Annika is 50 years old, she's eligible to play US Senior Women's Open scheduled on July 29-August 1, 2021.

This is her dress rehearsal in preparation of that tournament.

Definitely miffed about the tape delayed broadcast. With the WGC on network TV, there's no reason for the delay. I'm sure everyone will be watching the PGA in PR. Yeah, right. Pfffffttt.
