@getitdaily Thanks for the pictures. That is much smaller than I thought. Doesn't look to be really that much bigger than the wide blade! The Hercules might be calling my name! Too bad I live in Minnesota and the courses won't be open until April!

Worthwhile to go get fit at the Southdale store if you're considering a PXG putter.  They do a good job at finding the right head, neck, length, lie and weight combination for you.

Unfortunately that's a long drive from Minnesota. We do have a PXG store in Minnesota, (I got fitted there for a full bag; my Dad really liked my Mustang putter and I haven't seen it since he tried it), but they don't have a Quintic in the store, so it's basically just feel on putting carpet. The Mustang felt good to me in the store, but once I got on real greens I just didn't get along with it. If they had a Quintic, I'd definitely go in for a fitting, but 2nd Swing us the only place in Minnesota with one as far as I'm aware and they don't sell PXG.

Do you have previous path, face at impact, and rotation data on your stroke? Or do you know what you do and how consistently you do it?

Yup, I'm in Minnesota as well, I think you read Southdale as Scottsdale.

If you're wanting Quintic and PXG you're right it's not a good combo since PXG only sells direct through their website or stores.  2nd Swing could do it, but you're limited to the PXG used putters they happen to have on hand.

You're right I did, my bad. I did original get fit there, I just wasn't a huge fan of the mustang.

I don't have any data outside using the Ping system a few years back.  That told me I have a strong arc.  So I've been using high toe hang putters ever since.  I like PXG though because they have hosels for everything versus being stuck to limited models that have a slant or flow neck.

Just got my Bat attack with M16 shaft yesterday. Some practice rolls on my putting mat against my Betti SS7 this morning. BA feels really stable.

Question is, do I take it out today in a scramble I’m playing or wait?!?

Do you leave a new car in the driveway after you buy it?

Really impressed with the BA putter. Made some nice putts today and inside of 5 feet seemed almost automatic. It came with a Sink Fit Pistol grip which is wider than the grip on the Betti Sink Fit Deep etched and I actually really liked it. I'm going to keep in the bag for now. Also, headcover is the best in the game.

Recently switched to a BlackJack with Tour Stability shaft and it's quite amazing. Like the balance a lot

Paradym 9 + Vanquish

Stealth 2+ 3w + Ventus Blue

Callaway UT 2024 Tour Issue 18 + KBS PGH

Mizuno 923 Tour 4-P + ProjectX LZ

Cleveland RTX 6 50 55 60

Toulon Design Vista + BGT Tour Stability

A) does anyone use the Blackbird?

B) what’s the stock shaft like? Apparently is sucks. What’re y’all putting in it in place?
C) how does it feel compared to a SIK Flo

The stock shaft is a noodle, not made for the heavier weight of Armlock putters.  I put a Stability Shaft in my Bat Attack and it helped immensely

When I originally was looking at updating my putter last year I was torn between a PXG BR Spitfire and a Closer

I like the Wide Blade style and I went to the SpitFire to change it up a bit and try something different

I love the feel of the PXG BR putters and the ability to change weights is a plus for me

The sound doesn't bother me at all.

A year later and I never could get a good rhythm with the SpitFire

I was either really hot or really cold

And recently, cold

So I did what any normal person would do, I bought a Closer.

Will report back when I have a chance to roll it

I do need to get a different grip too.

To me, the best looking wide blade there is. Had it for a brief moment but it couldn't unseat the operator.

I am hoping this is the one

One difference so far is the sound

The Closer does not produce the "ding" the SpitFire did when hit

Yeah, Spitfire had a weird sound and it seemed to propel off the face really fast...kind of springy.

I am glad you said this

I was just out at lunch hitting a few with the new grip I had put on and thinking I was screwing something up because it was not jumping off the face like my Spitfire

It's not a bad thing, just have to adjust

I like the control I seem to have with the Closer already

Anyone replace the weights of a putter with (4) weights on the sole with (2) heavier and (2) lighter weights? Would having (2) 10g weights and lets say (2) 15 or 20g throw off the balance? The weight kits only provide two of each which could be a pain.
