Fujikura MC Putter shafts

Doesn't seem like they're working on or have released an over-hosel shaft yet.

 

So that begs a question in my tinkering mind.  

 

I have an Odyssey Seven with a .370 over-hosel shaft in it.  The MC shaft is a .355 shaft...   My mind makes me want to make an adapter out of a steel shaft about an inch long that fits over the hosel, and then the .355 shaft goes inside of that adapter.  Might be a bit lose, but might be able to shim it.  Might not be the absolute prettiest thing, but...  Reminds me of the bi-matrix shaft from a driver kinda.. 

 

Anyone else have an idea like this, or a better one?

They seem to have a Black, a Red, and a Chrome option. Black option may not be too rough on the eyes.

I also enjoy the odyssey seven slant, but still waiting to see what Fuji can do as a solution before trying gaming anything new. 
 

I ordered the x firm, still waiting for the shaft to arrive to the shop.

The weight and feel makes this the best putter shaft I ever tried. Betti’s stock shaft is definitely heavy and whippy compared to it.
 

I don’t know if a putter with an insert would do it as much justice, but combined with the the RC face…Love it  

 

Very addicting to use. Glad I made the purchase.

Congrats. Addicting is the perfect description. Love the X Firm. I think some players see the high CPM numbers on it and are scared off. It’s my favorite. Does not feel x stiff, it is just what it says, X Firm. iMO a perfect combo of stability and a luxury ride. The putter I game can’t take this shaft so I made a trade for a MannKrafted blade and part of the appeal is it has an x-firm in it. Lot of quality putter shafts out there but the rubber/composite materials and construction of these is unique and it works.

Anyone know if these, especially the x-firm, have a high balance point? Will they have a significant effect on swing weight when switching from a typical steel shaft?

Just installed a MC Firm in my odyssey 7ch. Ended up having to tip trim it quite a bit to get the fit correct. So far I love the feel. It feels overall a little lighter than the red stroke lab I had in it but also a touch more head heavy. This makes sense because the stroke lab concept is counterbalanced. 
 

Of course they just punched the greens at all the courses in my town. Speed wasn’t great today with the variance but start line was dead on target all day. Feel of the putter is great too. I actually think it firmed up the insert’s feel maybe just a touch. 
 

On my mat indoors everything feels great. To me it is a touch firmer than typical steel shafts but also responsive. Long putts feel much more stable.

I found the opposite effect going from Stability blackout to MC X-Firm a far as feel goes. Softened up the feel a bunch for me vs the stability shaft. This was not necessarily a bad thing, just a change in sound/feel. I’ve only had a chance to roll it indoors on my putting mat, so I’ll update once I’ve got it outside for a bit.

The feel is great. I guess what I’m saying is that white hot can get a little mushy feeling sometimes on soft putts. It now feels soft but solid. I like the change a lot.

I just added the smooth to my SIK pro c. I spent about two hours on the putting green with it yesterday. I think it’s going to be a magical combo lol
