Prize Ideas For Losing Team On Golf Trip

I go on a golf trip every year, for the last 14 or 15 years, with a group of guys, usually 8-12. We split everyone into 2 teams,and play different combinations each round (match play, with points awarded for matches). We have trophies for the winning team members, and a few years ago, I started giving prizes for the losing team (Balls with "Loser" message in bright pink text, bright pink microfiber towel with large "Loser" message), as I thought it would be a fun idea. Basically, give something useful, but a little less than desirable for whatever reason. So, just thought I would post to see what ideas the WRX crowd could come up with. Not looking for anything really expensive, either. Appreciate any input. 

 

And, yes, I use my bright pink towel all the time. 😄

i'd be more inclined to buy a better prize for the winners, if the trophy is the only thing ... as you said, the losers get something that it seems is at least somewhat "useful", despite the appearance of the item ... the losers of Alabama's ADay game get hot dogs for dinner while the winners get a steak ... so maybe something along those lines - the night's bottle that losers have to drink is a cheap one vs a good one for the winners (tho not everybody drinks) ... maybe make the losers from the previous year have to play with pink balls, or something, during the current contest ... outside of that, good old cash-on-the-line is always a motivator ...

t-shirts that say “ask me how bad i am at golf” that the losers have to wear to dinner or the bar that night. 

 

or a d*ck shaped trophy which is equally as useless as the winners’ prize but a little bit worse.

I ran a scramble for years and gave the last place team pink golf balls that said YOU SUCK! on them...

Sounds a little too "participation-y" to me.

How about the losers wash the cars and/or clubs, or shine the shoes of the winners, and the "prize" for the losers is a nice photo of the activity!

We would print up "Integrity Certificates"  to whoever came in last.  Honest golfers get rewarded.  😄

There's a few things I've purchased from GolfGods that is suitable for losers such as coozies. Some of them say "bad golfer", "fore" etc.

Cheap and funny enough to rub into the losers face.

Ran a charity tourney for about 10 years now... always have a last place prize. 

 

Floral boonie hats, extremely ugly towels... like bacon and eggs themed (thusly dubbed the crying towel award), 1 dozen top flights, a free golf lesson by the pro, visors before they became somewhat popular again, divot fixers with last place stamped on them, Caddy shack edition Stance Golf socks.  That's all I have off the top of my head.  Really anything that's pretty heinous but still humorous.  It's become a bit of a pride point for a few teams annually.  Very interested in what other folks come up with.

Useful but less desirable is a fun criterion and many excellent suggestions have been offered, thus I am reluctant to add a variation on a theme item, but apparently having no filter prior to the first cup of coffee:
