Titleist not offering 4-for-3 in 2022?

The max order was always supposed to be 4-dozen.

Sounds like it's not happening, but really odd that Titleist does not respond on their own website forum to a query.  Are they trying to build suspense?  Maybe they want people to buy balls normally until they announce?

 

Seems odd to not respond to loyal customers.

I’ll take the +175 that it’s not gonna happen. Then I’ll parlay with the under since it’s not happening this year.

I am 95% confident I am getting the deal this year, but they already told me they are limiting the number of orders.

Talked with our Pro a couple of days ago and he said that Titleist rep told him that there is no deal this year.

Our pro last talked to the Titleist rep about two weeks ago and was told no deals from Titleist this year.  I guess that could change in response to the Callaway deal (particularly if Callaway gets large purchases).  All the ProV1's I have are all made in Thailand.  I can't recall the last time I saw a box that said made in USA.  Is this a result of Covid shutdowns in US?  Seems odd.

My pro confirmed the same thing. No deal this year. Callaway is already up and running. I’ve actually been preferring the 2022 Chrome Soft X LS to the Left Dash anyway.

Talked to our rep again this morning. Deal on in Canada. Warned that it is ‘well supplies last’ and it will close very fast.   My order is already written up and goes in Friday am.

Just try any store that sells Callaway.  I wouldn't think this offer was only for clubs.

So Americans get left out of a US company with a majority of Thailand made balls? I'm lost. That's ok, most of us are hoarders anyway and play Maxfli so that is cool.

Acushnet(which owns Titleist) has been Korean owned since 2011. Not that makes any difference I suppose.

I know it's the same ball from plant3 and plant 4, but I sell off almost all of my Plant 4  (Thailand)balls.   It's my understanding that majority of the balls that go to big box stores  (Dicks Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, etc) are the Plant 4 Pro V1's.

Got my online order in and a club order in. Online is very overwhelmed right now and super slow. Seems everyone wants to get in before quantities run out.

I do as well, in fact I keep all my plant 3 sleeves and boxes and put plant 4 balls in them when I sell them away🤣

 If you are serious, that's kind of shady.  I keep mine in the appropriate sleeves/boxes. 

 

When playing, I use the old TaylorMade plastic sleeves to store balls in. I use the cardboard Titleist sleeves as bookmarks for my golf books.  Titleist says the balls are identical.  I just prefer using the balls made in the USA (I do keep #3 plant 4 balls because that is my preferred play number).  I do segregate the Plant 4 balls from the plant 3 balls when storing them (I have separate containers).  Yes, I have problems 😀 and I am well aware of the issues I have 😀.

hahaha I'm kidding u man, sure I like to play a ball that was born in the US as well but the materials and machines are all the same, just in a different geographical location.

I don't think this was intentional. Just speculation, but someone missed a memo at Titleist Canada. They announced the deal (online and to clubs), then buried it (removed it online and unlike past years they did not promotions etc)

 

I think what is happening now is they are trying to honour their announcement. I suspect it closes very fast.

It's even available at Golftown which shocked me. Looks like special Loyalty boxes that you can order online.

It looks like it's already finished on the Canadian site. I logged in and saw the banner ad, but by the time I added balls to my cart, they were regular price again and the ad is gone from the website.

So what about the people that were saying it 100% wasn't happening in any country? Do those people ever reappear once a year when it happens again to dispute people with emails and orders? Is there a lamp we need to rub or do they just move on?

Ha! Sorry! Let me try again. So Americans are left out of a Korean owned company deal who makes some of their balls in the US and some in Thailand and makes all of it's clubs overseas but "assembles them in USA" to makes us all feel good about ourselves, which relies on the US market for a majority of its sales and presence but does a deal for our lovely neighbors to the north who only get 74 golf days a year due to snow, dog sledding and moose luring constraints?

Okay maybe I am wrong then with my speculalation. There I certainly some oddity about this year's loyalty program, but I guess we should just be happy it is on as advertised.
